Primative Weapons Title: Goldi: Palin Quitting Was A Brilliamt Move Worthy of George Washington #14. To: GrandIsland (#9) Those who criticise Palin for quitting the Governorship, should take a look at our Founding Father, George Washington. He had NO desire to be President, and did so only because he was needed. Others did the same with regard to service. Palin realized that by staying she would harm her state, and left. If she was power mad, she would have hung on like the Democrats do...to the bitter end. However, she chose to leave on a positive note, and has done a LOT to help the conservative cause. In hindsight, her departure was a brilliant move. All we've done SINCE is triple the deficit, and make America less hospitable to business, and via several pieces of legislation and Executive Orders destroyed existing jobs and company's...and it looks like entire industries. “It has been one of the strongest profits recoveries ever,” said David S. Bianco, chief United States equity strategist for Bank of America Merrill Lynch. “You have got to go back to the Depression to find a profits recovery that outpaces this one.”

(laughing) Its hilarious you grasp at this straw, goofy. Obama's first all-by-his-lonesome budget, btw, calls for a $1.17 trillion deficit. #39. To: Badeye (#38) Three cheers for Bankers? Chipmaker Intel Corp. reported strong earnings and a positive outlook for growth after the market closed Tuesday, a day after Alcoa Inc. and CSX Corp. did the same.

#40. To: Badeye (#36) it would have worked in my view. I'm still at a loss as to why you would think "your view" has any credibility.
#41. To: lucysmom (#39) Doesn't change the fact you cited bankers in the previous comment, goofy. Sheesh, talk about desperate... Obama's first all-by-his-lonesome budget, btw, calls for a $1.17 trillion deficit. #42. To: go65 (#40) it would have worked in my view. I'm still at a loss as to why you would think "your view" has any credibility. If you really think that, filter me, GO65. Trust me, I don't lose any sleep over such things, unlike many in these forums. Obama's first all-by-his-lonesome budget, btw, calls for a $1.17 trillion deficit. #43. To: go65 (#40) #16. To: JoeSnuffy (#1) We need a renewal of McCarthyism. He was right, and history has proven it. We need to identify the Commies, and blackball them from having ANY kind of position of authority or policy making in this country for life. There needs to also be an ongoing law enacted that anyone who joins any communist/socialist group, or attests to the concepts of Marxism be added to that list. #44. To: Fred Mertz (#43) Did you ever get the feeling that "Joe" was a parody? Sometimes he'd have moments of clarity...most of the time he was wholly off the wall...
#45. To: war (#44) Yes, he is sometimes on target and often all over the board. I never considered him a parody though.
#46. To: Fred Mertz (#43) That is Nurse Ratched's idea of free speech.
#47. To: war (#22) Looks like I have been banned there, too. I was going to post a comment there a couple of days ago about Mel Gibson, and couldn't sign in. She ignored my emails pretending that she was waiting to hear from me regarding whether I'd apologize [as if] to packie the perv. I finally sent her an email stating that I was going to have someone post my emails to her.
#54. To: war (#53) Out of curiosity, I went over to the cuckoo's nest. I was able to sign in. Didn't attempt to post.
#55. To: Bartcoprules (#54) I post there on occasion, but not very often.
#56. To: Fred Mertz (#43) She has the right enemy. Mcarthy was right. But what she is describing isn't Mcarthyism.
#57. To: Bartcoprules (#54) You abdicated, right?
#58. To: Badeye (#49) Gee, I was a trend setter in 2007.... lol, never. You were always just a bore. Though you are trying to lead the trend of bringing back 70's fashions. #65. To: war (#64) I think that if Palin started posting complete gibberish Goldi would cheer it on as a great breakthrough in communications, worthy of George Washington himself. To: Skip Intro (#65) I think that if Palin started posting complete gibberish Goldi would cheer it on as a great breakthrough in communications, worthy of George Washington himself. People who still consider themselves to be Republicans are desperate for a conservative leader. If one doesn't show up,they are so desperate they will designate a RINO as the token conservative. I wish you would quit saying that, though. I'm starting to think you are coming on to me. "I adore John McCain, support him 100 percent and will do everything I can to support his reelection.
