McCain, Kyl Call For More Resources to Protect Border (BARF ALERT)
DOUGLAS, Ariz.-- Fresh off a tour of the border, Arizona Senators John McCain and Jon Kyl are calling for more resources to protect the border and curtail drug and human smuggling.
McCain's hypocrisy is simply staggering. Had he demanded the border be made secure after 9/11, Bush probably would have gone along with it, just as he let campaign finance reform slide by as a peace offering - that didn't work.
Now that he's in a race where turnout just might decide against him in the primary, he's pretending to be a 'conservative'.
I wish Hayworth could beat him, but I doubt it. And I suspect if somehow JD did, McCain would immediately announce he's running as an Independent. Its what 'moderates' do.
