Daily MailRicky Gervais skewered woke Hollywood, made jokes about Jeffrey Epstien, Harvey Weinstein and Prince Andrew, and tackled topics such as MeToo and ISIS as he left his A-list audience wincing during his opening monologue at the 77th Golden Globe awards.Tom Hanks, Robert De Niro, and Gwyneth Paltrow were left with stunned looks on their faces as Gervais mocked Felicity Huffman over the college admission scandal, branded James Corden a massive p**** and ripped Judi Dench for licking her own a***hole in his eight-minute speech. In a particularly blunt moment, Gervais advised those receiving awards to avoid making political speeches because ...

The taxpayers of South Carolina were put on notice this week that they will be the ones footing the bill for the cops who dumped dozens of rounds into a Myrtle Beach man over $100 worth of pot. The victim, Julian Betton was left paralyzed by Drug Enforcement Unit officers with Myrtle Beach police hell bent on eradicating a plant that is legal in some form in most of the country. Betton sued the city and officer David Belue, alleging unlawful entry and the use of excessive force in the April 16, 2015 raid. The latest settlement comes after Betton already received $2.75 million from the Drug Enforcement Unit task force. The city of Myrtle Beach and Belue were the only remaining defendants, ...

The Illinois State Police confirms that people who try newly legal marijuana are not considered "unlawful users" of narcotics. Customers wait to buy marijuana at Rise, a dispensary in Mundelein, Illinois, on New Year's Day. (Mark Hertzberg/Zuma Press/Newscom) Cannabis consumers in Illinois, where state-licensed marijuana dispensaries started serving recreational customers yesterday, will pay more in taxes than cannabis consumers in most other states that have legalized pot. But at least they do not have to worry that the state police will be coming for their guns, thanks to protections included in the 2019 law that allows adults 21 or older to purchase and use ...
‘You Don’t Throw Stuff at People’: Multiple Cities Ban Throwing Snowballs, Threaten Fines
Post Date: 2019-12-29 19:34:36 by Deckard
In a move which might seem asinine to some, several Wisconsin cities have completely banned throwing snowballs in public. One of those cities, Wausau, WI stated residents who throw snowballs on public roads, streets, sidewalks, and public property will be cited and face a penalty of a monetary fine if they wad up the icy substance and throw it. Yes, thats right America. The ever-increasing all powerful police state in America has determined that individuals are not capable of deciding for themselves whether or not its appropriate to throw snow balls at each other. Instead, the elected city officials have governed the freedom to engage in a snowball fight out of ...
Cops Give DUIs to People Not Even Driving a Car, Including People Using Uber
Post Date: 2019-12-29 04:49:07 by Deckard
Cops are apparently so hell bent on enforcing DUI laws that some of them are reportedly arresting folks for DUIeven if they are not driving. In Utah, there have been multiple instances of cops issuing DUIs to people who arent driving, and they are proud of it. This insanity is the result of police officers interpretation of an ill-defined law. As KUTV reports, in Utah, a person cannot drive, operate, or be in actual physical control of a car while under the influence or alcohol or drugs. There are a lot of factors that are looked at to determine if a person is in actual physical control of the car. Actual physical control isnt defined, ...
36% of Democrats Support Confiscating Guns From Law Abiding Patriots
Post Date: 2019-12-29 04:44:18 by Deckard
New polling has revealed that almost 40% of Democrats now support national gun confiscation similar to the plans proposed by Democrats such as Beto ORourke. A Zogby Analytics survey polled earlier this month reveals that 36% of Democrats support confiscating firearms from law-abiding gun owners. Such a concept would have seemed incomprehensible even for many progressive Democrats several months ago, but long-shot Democratic campaigns for the presidency centered around gun control appear to have helped normalize it in the party. Beto ORourke and Eric Swalwell both campaigned openly on the notion of confiscating semiautomatic firearms from lawful gun owners. Attempts to take ...
Burnouts and Beatdowns
Post Date: 2019-12-29 00:37:46 by Deckard
Detroit armed government workers are apoplectic over a public display of contempt for their authority which they say is really just concern for public safety. But their steam-out-of-their ears overreaction to this incident suggests otherwise. A burnout was committed on I-94. Only tires were harmed. But video was taken with the license plate of the Camaro doing the burnout obscured and birdie-flips to AGWs conveyed. This concerned the AGWs very much. Five-star General James Craig held a press conference worthy of the hunt for Dillinger. Heres my message, the General said: We are going to find you and when ...

ulti-Agency Task Force Raid House To Arrest Someone Already In Jail, Shoot Woman In House Multiple Times Because Reasons

from the ma'am-we're-the-professionals-here-he-said-as-he-shot-her deptTue, Dec 24th 2019 1:12pm Tim Cushing I usually don't jump in on things like these until a few more facts are in. As much as law enforcement complains about people "rushing to judgment" before every conceivable fact has been examined, here at Techdirt we prefer to be right, rather than first. Hey, we care about our reputation and we know our readers expect better of us. That being said, there are a lot of tells in this story that suggest this is going to get a whole lot worse for the law enforcement agencies involved in this nearly-deadly raid. Not "worse before it gets better." ...

When people desperately trying to avoid a fight are left no choice but to fight, they are often the fiercest fighters imaginable. The reason being an explosion of righteous anger of berserker fury directed at the bullies who will not leave them be.Governor Coonman Northam of Virginia is such a bully. He intends to rescind the current, ancient and long-acknowledged legal right of Virginians who arent criminals to possess more than single shot rifles and pistols by criminalizing anyone who does possess them. These newly minted criminals will then be required to turn in their formerly legal firearms to the government or be subject to ...
While You Were Watching the Impeachment Circus
Post Date: 2019-12-24 07:34:37 by Deckard
Well, they did it! The House impeachment hearings were little more than political theater a partisan fistfight with the majority party coming out the winner. In the process, it created the illusion of deep division and disagreement. Devoted Democrats and Republicans are both convinced that their team is fighting for their interests against a determined foe on the other side of the aisle. But while everybody obsessed over the political theater playing out on CNN, Fox News and MSNBC, they completely missed the sideshow that could actually impact their lives. Even as Democrats and Republicans engaged in a contentious public spectacle in the media spotlight, they worked in ...
Cop Furious After Trying to Shoot Family’s Dog and Shot Himself Instead
Post Date: 2019-12-23 12:24:42 by Deckard
Davie, FL Proportionately, cops kill exponentially more dogs than they do people. Its quite a strange phenomena because postal workers dont seem to have the same problems with dogs like cops do. Its so devious, the killing of family pets by those sworn to serve and protect the public, we actually keep an archive of stories of cops killing mans best friend. But one cop learned the hard way shooting a dog can be dangerous. He shot himself instead of the dog. A Davie police officer, whose name has not been released presumably out of embarrassment, shot himself in the hand after a boxer named Bella allegedly charged at him. The officer raised his weapon out of ...
