2012 Zion Olympics in London Coincide with Tisha B’Av - Commemoration of the Destruction of the Temples in Jerusalem
Post Date: 2012-07-28 01:07:21 by A K A Stone
If you ever listened to the programs that we did with Rik Clay, you know that weve been following the 2012 Zion Olympics connection closely. You can listen to all four hours that we did with Rik Clay in 2008 in case you missed it. Even Iran is boycotting the 2012 Olympics because of the blatant Zion symbolism. So adding to the pile of connections between the 2012 Olympics in London and the "aspirations" of Zion and the symbolic rebuilding/destruction of the temple, another tidbit has now come to light thanks to an email from a listener. It turns out that "Tisha BAv" falls on the 27th of July this year (2012) and this is the SAME DAY that the London ...

How Can Situations Like The Colorado Theatre Shooting Be Prevented? Written on Saturday, July 21, 2012 by Dennis Marcellino Why didnt these things happen in the 1950s? Why didnt we need airport screenings then? Why didnt people need to lock their house or car doors then? The answer is simple. There was more order then (especially in families)
which then naturally released more love and peace and security. I lived through it so I know that to be true personally. But a person can verify what Im saying by listening to the music back then and watching the TV shows and movies. There was a different feeling in the air
even in the most impoverished ...
Feedback: Are Gender Roles a Social Construct?
Post Date: 2012-07-08 01:15:11 by A K A Stone
I recognize this may not fit the nature of AiGs particular areas of study, but I was wondering if you had any resources regarding studies done on the supposed inherent nature of gender roles, both/either in Biblical terms and scientific study. From the limited studies I have done - reading books and other observations - it seems very clear to me that these gender roles are not mere social constructs as many claim. While there may be particular expectations per culture, the general trend leans towards a natural aspect, according to my understanding so far. Is there any way you might be able to help me refine and/or support my theories on this matter? Hello, and thank you for your ...

Richard Dawkins: "I can't be sure God does not exist" (most famous atheist in the world blinks) [Full Thread]
Post Date: 2012-07-01 12:30:04 by Liberator
He is regarded as the most famous atheist in the world but last night Professor Richard Dawkins admitted he could not be sure that God does not exist. He told the Archbishop of Canterbury, Dr Rowan Williams, that he preferred to call himself an agnostic rather than an atheist. The two men were taking part in a public dialogue at Oxford University at the end of a week which has seen bitter debate about the role of religion in public life in Britain. Last week Baroness Warsi, the Tory party chairman, warned of a tide of militant secularism challenging the religious foundations of British society. The discussion, in Sir Christopher Wrens Sheldonian Theatre, ...
Jesus Didn’t Condemn Homosexuality
Post Date: 2012-06-30 18:26:45 by CZ82
Jesus Didnt Condemn Homosexuality by Kyle Butt, M.A. By and large, the American culture is aggressively promoting the sinful lifestyle of homosexuality. In the midst of such pressure, many people who call themselves Christians are caving in and accepting this perverted lifestyle in spite of Gods clear teachings against it (Butt, 2003). Just recently, the country singer Carrie Underwood stated that her Christian faith lead her to support gay marriage (Nilles, 2012). In truth, the life and teachings of Jesus Christ could never be accurately understood to lead a person to conclude that homosexual marriage is moral (Miller and Harrub, 2004). One of the most common ...

The Invisible Church As the Bible describes the church, it becomes clear that the church is both what we see and what we cannot see. Church. The word paints a picture. You see the building in which you worship. It may be a small, white-frame building set on a hill in the quiet countryside. Or it may be a large, stone structure occupying a street corner in a busy city. Its not unusual for us to think of a building when we think of church. Worship is an important part of our lives, and that worship takes place in a building we love, whether it is fancy or plain. But that is not the way the word church is used in the Bible. In Scripture, church most often refers to people and not to ...
WHY DO THE NATIONS HATE ISRAEL?
Post Date: 2012-06-24 00:23:35 by A K A Stone
As the Jewish holiday of Purim returns each year, we have to ask ourselves this important question: "Why do the nations hate Israel?" The same question was asked by the Psalmist thousands of years ago. This question has also been asked by the Jews every year since that time. The Psalmist asked: "Why do the nations conspire and the peoples plot in vain?" (Ps. 2:1). At that first Purim, why did evil Haman conspire and plot against the Jews? Had he succeeded in his plan, it would have been a holocaust of unimaginable proportions. He would have wiped out the Jews in much of the known world, for the vast Persian Empire stretched from India to Ethiopia (Esth. 1:1). His plan ...

Why Socialism Isn’t Biblical — What Liberals Don’t Get
Post Date: 2012-06-14 21:44:18 by CZ82
Why Socialism Isnt Biblical What Liberals Dont Get Written on Thursday, June 14, 2012 by Tad Cronn A former associate of mine posted a cartoon the other day that said, Church: where Republicans go to worship a long-haired socialist hippie who condemned the rich and told people to pay taxes. I see this sort of thing a lot from my left-wing friends and others who dont seem to know much about the Bible but are mightily convinced that it talks about Jesus being a socialist. Recently, Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, who is as socialist as they come yet calls herself a Catholic, went so far as to say that Catholic archdioceses that have opposed President ...
James 1:1-8 (King James Version)

James 1:1-8 King James Version (KJV) 1 James, a servant of God and of the Lord Jesus Christ, to the twelve tribes which are scattered abroad, greeting. 2 My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations; 3 Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. 4 But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing. 5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. 6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. 7 For let not that man think that he shall receive any ...
Why Every Calvinist Should be a Premillennialist

RLH intro: This is a very long sermon, so will share below the intro to the sermon by Barry Horner and the full text link option for the full sermon by John MacArthur. For those who do not know John MacArthur I will preface he is not a Tim Lahaye or Hal Lindsey type of premillennialist. In fact, JM gets a lot of flak from that angle. What prompted me to post this sermon is, I think JM is his "own man" when it comes to plainly, literally reading and interpreting Scriptures. Calvinists claim him, and Evangelicals claim him. That tells me something, perhaps this guy is truly honest and calls them as he sees them plainly and literally. I will note the subject at hand on prophecy and ...
Chariots in Red Sea: 'Irrefutable evidence'

'Horse and human remains strewn like battlefield wreckage'Coral-encrusted object in Red Sea could be ancient Egyptian chariot wheels A news report that stunned the world nine years ago about the discovery of possible ancient chariot wheels at the bottom of the Red Sea is suddenly gaining fresh attention with new video claiming irrefutable evidence that corroborates the find. In June 2003, WND interviewed Bible enthusiasts who dove the waters of the Red Sea, alleging they found and photographed parts of chariots that may be the actual remains of the catastrophe brought upon the Egyptian army which pursued the Israelites, according to the Book of Exodus in the Bible. ...

1 Furthermore then we beseech you, brethren, and exhort you by the Lord Jesus, that as ye have received of us how ye ought to walk and to please God, so ye would abound more and more. 2 For ye know what commandments we gave you by the Lord Jesus. 3 For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication: 4 That every one of you should know how to possess his vessel in sanctification and honour;
5 Not in the lust of concupiscence, even as the Gentiles which know not God: 6 That no man go beyond and defraud his brother in any matter: because that the Lord is the avenger of all such, as we also have forewarned you and testified. 7

Rapture Believers Headed for the Great FALLING AWAY, NOT the Great Flying Away, The TRUE IDENTITY of the Antichrist Direct From Revelation 13 [Full Thread]

Rapture Believers Headed for the Great FALLING AWAY, NOT the Great Flying Away, The TRUE IDENTITY of the Antichrist Direct From Revelation 13 By Coral Snake Of all the cults in the world probably the WORST of them holds in its thrall most most churches calling themselves Bible Believing, largely because they do not offer Bible study in an depth chapter by chapter and verse by verse method. This is the cult of the Rapture regardless of the part of the Great Tribulation Period they might believe that it comes in. The Rapture as a doctrine basically started in the 1830s in response to the "visions" of a mentally ill woman by the name of Mergret McDonald in Scotland. These visions ...
Why Homosexuality is a Sin, but Shellfish Are OK
Post Date: 2012-05-20 07:47:07 by CZ82
Why Homosexuality is a Sin, but Shellfish Are OK May 19, 2012 by Tad Cronn Among the many confusions about the Bible expressed by nonbelievers is the notion that Christians pick and choose which parts of the Old Testament to follow and believe. Lately, this has come up in the context of Obamas and the White Houses attempts to promote gay marriage. Atheists and gay marriage proponents have repeatedly asked why is homosexuality a sin when Christians ignore most of the provisions in the Old Testament, like not eating pork or shellfish? The question of course is just an effort to pounce on perceived hypocrisy, but Ive been surprised by how few ...
ObozoÂ’s Biblical justification for gay marriage is NOT Biblical

Obamas Biblical justification for gay marriage is NOT Biblical Posted on May 11, 2012 by Conservative Byte Obama, like many others, cited the Golden Rule (Do unto others as you would have them do to you) as justification for his stance to accept gay marriage. But thats not the whole Biblical picture. Obedience to and harmony with holiness is the rest of the picture. There is a designed order to how things should work, designed by God. I do live by the Golden Rule. But as part of that I would expect to be held (first and foremost by God) to a holy standard. And therefore thats how I look at others. Gods designed order (aka holiness) is just as important ...
The Bible is No ‘Pro-Slavery Document’
Post Date: 2012-05-07 21:49:52 by CZ82
The Bible is No Pro-Slavery Document Written on Monday, May 7, 2012 by Tad Cronn The Bible is the most profound collection of documents written in ancient times about the freedom of humanity. The overarching narrative is about mankinds imprisonment in sin through its own actions, and its eventual return to freedom through a personal relationship with God. So how could such a document condone the human institution of slavery? That is one of the gravest and most devastating accusations leveled against the Bible by critics. And it is one that is increasingly used to promote homosexuality. If the Bible can be so wrong about slavery, the argument goes, then its ...

Clad in gray coat, Aharon ben Ab-Chisda ben Yaacob, 85, is sitting in the dim light of his house. He strikes up a throaty chant, a litany in ancient Hebrew. He has a full beard and is wearing a red kippah on his head. The man is a high priest -- and his family tree goes back 132 generations. He says: "I am a direct descendent of Aaron, the brother of the prophet Moses" -- who lived perhaps over 3,000 years ago. snip "Actually there's only one main difference," he says. Among the Jews, Jerusalem is the world's religious epicenter, whereas for the Samaritans it's Mount Gerizim. But which Torah is the original? Until recently, the generally accepted school ...

Was Moses a Jew or Muslim and Who Did He Lead Out of Egypt? April 11, 2012 byGiacomo When open my Bible to Exodus chapter 2, I read, Now a man from the house of Levi went and took as his wife a Levite woman. The woman conceived and bore a son, and when she saw that he was a fine child, she hid him three months. When she could hide him no longer, she took for him a basket made of bulrushes and daubed it with bitumen and pitch. She put the child in it and placed it among the reeds by the river bank. And his sister stood at a distance to know what would be done to him. Now the daughter of Pharaoh came down to bathe at the river, while her young women walked beside the river. She saw the ...
