Democrat Bob Casey, the senior U.S. senator from Pennsylvania, has supported an LGBT center in Philadelphia with a track record of promoting openly communist events and hosting child drag shows. John Robins, head of England's West Yorkshire Police, said police departments should be able to practice "positive discrimination" in favor of black and Asian applicants in order to increase the number of nonwhite officers in their ranks. A California school district voted Thursday to require that school officials notify parents if their child wants to change their gender. The Chino Valley Unified School District (CVSUD) voted 4-1 to approve a policy that requires school employees to inform parents within three days if their child wants to identify as a gender that is different from their biological sex, or asks to be referred to as a different name than their legal name. According to a new survey, a majority of college students believe that professors who say something "offensive" should be reported to the university. The survey, from researchers at North Dakota State University, found that 74 percent of students overall supported reporting professors for offensive statements. While a majority of students from all political persuasions agreed with reporting professors, a higher percentage of liberal students were in favor; 81 percent of liberal students supported reporting professors, while only 53 percent of conservative students supported it.
