The African Origin of the Slave Trade

For decades liberals have beat into the heads of white Americans that they are racists responsible for enslaving blacks. The insistence on white racism was music to the ears of black activists. Here is racial provocateur Al Sharpton 21 years ago: “The first thing we need to do is acknowledge that you robbed me. Let’s start there with reparations. . . . America must admit its sins in Africa and its sins against people of African descent.” Click for Full Text!

A Missouri trial court declined Friday to block a law preventing transgender interventions for minors, citing “conflicting and unclear” medical evidence on the effectiveness of so-called puberty blockers and cross-sex hormones. “The science and medical evidence is conflicting and unclear,” Judge Stephen R. Ohmer ruled. “Accordingly, the evidence raises more questions than answers.” Click for Full Text!

Senators to FBI: Quit hiding details about your anti-Catholic ideology

Only days after an analysis at The Federalist revealed the FBI created an anti-Catholic memo that accused church faithful of being domestic terrorists because the "Washington regime" has no tolerance for those opposing its "pagan morality," a U.S. senator is fed up with the bureau's refusal to provide information. It was John Daniel Davidson at The Federalist who explained the FBI claimed the memo against Catholics came from one office, but that wasn't true, as officials in Richmond, Virginia, Los Angeles and Portland all contributed. For the first time since the Truman administration, Oregon drivers will be permitted to grab a fuel hose and fill their gas tanks all by themselves. Governor Tina Kotek on Friday signed legislation, which went into effect immediately, that lifts the state’s 72-year ban on self-serve filling stations, leaving New Jersey as the last state in the US with a prohibition on self-serving gasoline stations. Zelensky Says Ukraine Elections Could Happen If They’re Funded by the West

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said Sunday that Ukrainian elections could happen in wartime if Kyiv receives funding from its Western backers and Ukraine’s legislators are willing to hold a vote. Zelensky previously said elections can’t happen because they’re forbidden by Ukraine’s constitution during martial law, which was recently extended until November 15. Ukraine’s next parliamentary elections are scheduled for October 2023, and the next presidential election is due to be held in March 2024. Click for Full Text!

The federal government agency tasked with leading the response to natural disasters has its hands full as more than 1,000 Americans remain missing following wildfires that devastated the Hawaiian island of Maui. FEMA nonetheless is mandating a three-hour diversity training for employees that argues, among other things, that white supremacy is "ingrained in nearly every system and institution in the U.S." Click for Full Text!

From Poverty to Moon Landing: How Coal Propelled Indian Economy

On August 23, India landed a craft near the Moon’s South Pole – an historic feat matched only by three other countries and made possible by the subcontinent’s largely uninhibited use of fossil fuels. The acceleration of coal usage between 2000 and 2020 played a pivotal role in bringing electricity to billions and ushering in a new era of economic growth and improved living standards. So much so, that a nation that once did not even have enough food for its population now has funds for space missions. Click for Full Text!

Two German childcare centres in Nordrhein-Westfalen issue child sexuality manifestos, waxing poetic about the benefits of masturbation and outlining rules for child sexual play

A few of you have asked about reports of “sexual exploration rooms” in German childcare centres, where young children are encouraged to masturbate and touch each other. While I have no doubt the field of child sexual pedagogy is unusually depraved, I suspected the reports were exaggerated or lacking important context. In this, I was very wrong. I have spent about six hours exploring this very disturbing rabbit hole, and I need a shower. Maybe ten of them. Read the rest of this post at your own risk. Click for Full Text!

I Rented A Tesla For A Week And Am Totally Sold On Gas-Powered Cars

While planning a week-long trip to the Seattle area recently, I wondered aloud to my husband if we should rent a Tesla. Neither of us had ever driven an electric vehicle before. The price difference between the long- range Tesla Model 3 and a standard mid-size gas-fueled vehicle was pretty negligible. We agreed it would be an interesting learning experience despite our objections to the eco-agenda to phase out gas-powered vehicles. We also don’t believe EVs are particularly environmentally friendly since they need batteries that require the strip-mining of rare earth minerals such as lithium and cobalt. The World Economic Forum knows this very well and is likely looking for heavy ...

Kaiser Permanente in Santa Rosa, California, on Aug. 24 reversed a recent policy that would require masks in its facility after it reinstated the mandate days before. A Hollywood studio also said it would do away with its mandate. Officials for the hospital system told the Santa Rosa Press Democrat that the mask policy applies only to staff, not patients. It said that it is “strongly encouraging masks for patients, members, and visitors in the hospital and medical offices in the Santa Rosa Service Area in response to this latest increase in COVID-19 cases.” Click for Full Text!

The Origins Of The Neocons And Their Lunatic World View | A History With Professor Michael Brenner

Neocons are about the most dangerous species in international relations today. They are the kind of people who would rather see a million dead than chose a cooperative framework to resolve a (perceived) problem. Let's remember the memorable words of Ultra-Neocon Madeleine Albright: When asked in 1992 at an interview if half a million dead Iraqi Children which the US sanctions on the country had caused was worth it, Albright replied: “I think that is a very hard choice, but the price, we think, the price is worth it.” (https://www.aljazeera.com/opinions/20.... More than 100 chaplains signed a letter urging local Texas school boards to vote against putting chaplains in public schools, calling efforts to enlist religious counselors in public classrooms “harmful” to students and families. The letter comes just days before a bill allowing public schools to hire school chaplains becomes law in Texas, the first state in the country to pass such a measure. The legislation, which had been pushed by activists associated with Christian nationalism, gives the state’s nearly 1,200 school boards until March 1 of next year to vote on whether to employ chaplains. Gov. Albert Bryan Jr. has insisted that sex offender Jeffrey Epstein did not receive special treatment from his administration, but former V.I. Attorney General Denise George testified during a recent deposition that Bryan pressured her to reinstate a waiver of certain travel reporting requirements that had been revoked by former V.I. Attorney General Carol Thomas-Jacobs. “He just brought it to my attention that this is what Jeffrey Epstein wants, and — and I can expect a call from his attorney,” George said, according to a partial transcript of her July 17 deposition. Marine traffic jam: More than 200 ships waiting to cross the Panama Canal

After facing the drought of the century, the Panama Canal has limited daily transfers in order to ensure safe operation. Alas, this limitation has led to over 200 ships stuck on the sides of the Canal, waiting to cross the crucial waterway. Specifically, in response to the unpredictable weather patterns and the need to ensure reliable and sustainable service, the Panama Canal allows an average of 32 vessels per day to transit through it during this period. As the Canal is a very important global waterway that numerous ships carrying millions worth of cargo cross every year, its jam except for inconvenient, is also a direct threat to the global supply chain. The Threat Hunter Biden's Lawyers Used to Foster That Infamous Plea Deal

Hunter Biden’s attorneys lobbed a serious threat to get negotiations going on a plea deal when the legal scrutiny of the president’s son was becoming more intense. A lengthy article in Politico by Betsy Woodruff details the behind-the-scenes maneuvers that Hunter’s lawyers and the Justice Department made in crafting the infamous plea deal, where the younger Biden would have essentially evaded jail time for tax and gun charges that were blessedly shot down by a judge who hadn’t lost the plot. The gun charge stemmed from when the crack-cocaine-addicted Hunter bought a handgun in 2018. It was disposed of by his then-girlfriend, Hallie Biden. Click for Full Text!
