This is something that needs to go viral. FCC Commissioner Ajit Pai released a statement on Obamas Net Neutrality plan to regulate the internet and blasted Obama for not releasing the plan publicly. Last night, Chairman Wheeler provided his fellow Commissioners with President Obamas 332-page plan to regulate the Internet. I am disappointed that the plan will not be released publicly. The FCC should be as open and transparent as the Internet itself and post the entire document on its website. Instead, it looks like the FCC will have to pass the Presidents plan before the American people will be able to find out whats really in it. He continues on to explain this ...

During her confirmation hearings last week, Loretta Lynch, President Obama's choice to succeed Eric Holder as attorney general, called civil forfeiture, a form of legalized theft in which the government takes people's property without accusing them of a crime, "a wonderful tool." Lynch, currently the U.S. attorney for the Eastern District of New York, suggested that innocent owners need not worry about getting hammered by this tool, because forfeiture "is done pursuant to supervision by a court," and "the protections are there." In light of a forfeiture case that Lynch's office had abruptly dropped the previous week, her assurances rang hollow. ...

Millions to owe Obamacare tax penalty By Tami Luhby @Luhby Were you uninsured in 2014? It's time to pay the piper! Some 3 million to 6 million Americans will have to pay an Obamacare tax penalty for not having health insurance last year, Treasury officials said Wednesday. It's the first time they have given estimates for how many people will be subject to a fine. The penalty is $95, or 1% of income above a certain threshold (roughly $20,000 for a couple). So you could end up owing the IRS a lot of money. Take a married couple with $100,000 in income - their bill comes to $797, according to the Tax Policy Center ACA penalty calculator. The penalty for remaining uninsured rises ...

Appearing in a documentary about how the FBI entraps and provocateurs terror suspects, former FBI assistant director Thomas Fuentes admits that the federal agency needs to keep fear alive in order to justify budget increases. The documentary, entitled The Newburgh Sting, tells the story of how the feds convinced four poverty-stricken New York men to become involved in an informant-led terror plot. After defending the FBIs role in manufacturing the plot, Fuentes brazenly admits that the agency deliberately works to bolster terrorism fears in order to obtain increased funding. googletag.cmd.push(function() { googletag.display('div-gpt-ad-1403197269028-0'); }); ...

Decatur, GA A family is speaking out and demanding justice after the December 29th killing of Kevin Davis, 44, after he called 9-11 for help. Davis was by all accounts a kind and loving man. He was, in fact, so kind, that he invited a coworker Terrance Hilyard, who was going through a rough time, to stay with him and his girlfriend, April Edwards, in their small apartment. On the 29th, an argument escalated between Edwards and their house guest. Hilyard then stabbed Edwards with a kitchen knife before fleeing the residence. Davis called 9-11, and the couple waited in their bedroom for help to arrive. Shortly after the call, Davis heard gunfire from the front room of ...

New York, NY A common meme amongst those in the police accountability movement is that it is only a matter of time before an entirely innocent person crosses paths with the wrong cop and gets a hefty dose of police state USA. All too often we hear the ridiculous statement from the apologist crowd saying, If you dont break the law, you have nothing to worry about. However, that statement couldnt be further from the truth. Former NSA official William Binney sums this myth up quite accurately, The problem is, if they think theyre not doing anything thats wrong, they dont get to define that. The central government does. Paying the Price for Defending Your Troops (Lt Lorance - 20 Years in Prison for Killing Terrorists) Imagine this: You take command of an Army platoon stationed near a "Taliban-influenced" village in Kandahar Province, Afghanistan. The area has been described as a "hotbed of enemy activity," and unfortunately, your platoon has lost 10 percent of its men (including the former platoon leader) within the last couple months to insurgent attacks. You are familiar with intelligence that suggests motorcycles--specifically red motorcycles-- have been used in the area as enemy getaway vehicles, as well as being a vehicle of choice to implant IEDs. They are also used by suicide ...

Should it be illegal a crime in and of itself to dislike cops? The Fraternal Order of Police the union for cops thinks it ought to be. It is officially demanding that cops already a protected (and entitled) class be further set apart from ordinary folks by passing legislation that would enable prosecutors to pursue additional hate crimes charges against any not-cop who is accused of voicing anti-cop sentiments while, say, resisting arrest by attempting to ward off the wood shampoo being administered by a cop. Or in the course of committing any other crime involving one of the states enforcers of the laws where ...

Poor John McCain and Lindsey Graham, Washingtons real first couple. They only want to arm the moderate opposition in Syria. Three years on, how come their master plan isnt working, while ISIS has grown so strong? Despite what media lauded as, the largest demonstration in Frances history bigger than liberation at the end of WWII! (can you rightly compare the two), the Paris Attacks are fading fast into the rear view mirror. The media went to great lengths to reinforce the scary prospect of the ISIS in Europe, even though there is spurious evidence to suggest thats true. Nonetheless, evidence never stopped the media from ...

Obama SOTU Declares 'Workers Don't Need Choice'! Posted on January 22, 2015 by Onan Coca Im sure the average American worker will be happy to learn that their President doesnt think they need to have access to choice on right to work issues. All that American workers really need is a union to pay their dues to. Im also betting that the fact that most unions are supportive of the Democrat agenda has nothing to do with President Obamas choice to stand against worker choice. (Sarcasm) The honest truth of the matter is that the modern Democrat Party doesnt care about what the worker wants because the worker doesnt ...

Managers of state enterprises will be allowed to purchase items on a free market, making deals with other enterprises or even private businesses. They will be given the right to fire and hire workers, and pay them as much as they want. ...

Animal Welfare at Risk in Experiments for Meat Industry At a remote research center on the Nebraska plains, scientists are using surgery and breeding techniques to re-engineer the farm animal to fit the needs of the 21st-century meat industry. The potential benefits are huge: animals that produce more offspring, yield more meat and cost less to raise. There are, however, some complications. Pigs are having many more piglets up to 14, instead of the usual eight but hundreds of those newborns, too frail or crowded to move, are being crushed each year when their mothers roll over. Cows, which normally bear one calf at a time, have been retooled to have twins and triplets, ...

TransCanada Corp. (TRP) was sued by Nebraska landowners in a new bid to block the Keystone XL pipeline a week after the states highest court rebuffed an attempt to void the approved path across the state, a leg that would complete the route from Alberta tar sands to Gulf Coast refineries. Dual complaints were filed Friday against the Calgary-based company in state courts in York and ONeill, Nebraska, by David Domina, the lawyer whose prior effort to halt construction of the 1,179-mile (1,897-kilometer) conduit was defeated by a cadre of judges who ruled his clients hadnt established their legal right to sue. The earlier lawsuit was aimed at now-former Republican Governor ...
WHITE HOUSE CLAIMS POWER TO REGULATE, TAX INTERNET WITHOUT CONGRESS Post Date: 2015-01-16 12:05:54 by Excalibur

The White House dropped a bombshell on Thursday by announcing that FCC already has the authority to take over regulating and taxing the Internet without Congressional approval. Under network neutrality proceedings, the FCC could extend its 16.1% fee on interstate telecommunications services and relay fees to the Internet. The action would more than double the universal service revenue it collected in 2014, from $8 billion to $16 billion. Although Congress has mandated the general nature of the federal universal service fund and telecommunications relay services, it is the FCC that has the sole authority to set the budget size and the fee structure to perform its ...
