Auxiliary Bishop Rutilio del Riego of the Catholic Diocese of San Bernardino will preside over a prayer vigil and rally Thursday night in favor of immigration reform. The vigil begins at 7 p.m. at Our Lady of the Rosary Cathedral, 2525 N Arrowhead Ave., San Bernardino. The event is coordinated by the diocese and by Justice for Immigrants Coalition of Inland Southern California, a coalition supporting a change in immigration laws, including the legalization of many undocumented immigrants. It was a weekday evening following the exhilaration of Holy Week, but St. Michael Catholic Church in South Los Angeles was still abuzz.
