The mayor was quoted as saying: It would be unjust to prosecute these disadvantaged youts for the rioting we are seeing - it is a direct response to years of systemic injustice. We would request that the protesters only attack symbols of "white privilege" and move the looting...er I mean taking merchandise from stores from the ghettos to the rich part of town. You know, because...reparations. We believe that by issuing social distancing citations, we can quell this minor disturbance. Nice change from the usual MD 20/20 fortified wine I suppose. Only malt liquor I've tried is Mickeys. Nasty. Government is in the last resort the employment of armed men, of policemen, gendarmes, soldiers, prison guards, and hangmen. The essential feature of government is the enforcement of its decrees by beating, killing, and imprisoning. Those who are asking for more government interference are asking ultimately for more compulsion and less freedom.
