No one defined "trees". lolol I guess we are lucky, in most of California with our lack of humidity, it takes about one summer in full sun to dry out most types of wood cut in fireplace lengths adequately. We just had a 40 year old Monterey Pine put on the ground, delimbed with the 3.5 foot diameter trunk cut into 2 foot lengths and the stump ground down. 1000 bucks and it took them less than five hours. We will definitely use the wood splitter on this one. And cut up the limbs on our own. In the ten years that California's pop has "declined", they have built a golf course and retirement community plus one other subdivision on the north side which has been all sold out and inhabited for at least six years. And on the southwest end towards Lakeville going to Petaluma a huge housing subdivision was just completed with still a few for sale. There is only about 25% of the land along that road not developed. There's too many stop lights for a race scene now.
