On Wednesday, paparazzi captured photos of Sarah Palin relaxing on a Hawaii beach with her husband and children, and wearing a McCain campaign visor -- with her former running mate's name scribbled over with a black marker. TMZ called the visor a "searing political statement," but Palin tells Politico that she was just trying to keep a low profile. "I am so sorry if people took this silly incident the wrong way," Palin said in a statement. "I adore John McCain, support him 100 percent and will do everything I can to support his reelection. As everyone knows, I was honored and proud to run with him. And Todd and I were with him in D.C. just a week ago. So much for trying to be incognito." Good point. I can see that. But if she disagreed with him on policy, she should have declined the nomination. But if she disagrees with McCain's views, stances and policies, and still made the statement above, then like a typical politician she's lying to further her political career. If she does agree with McCain's views, stances and policies, and made the statement above honestly, then she is not a conservative. Either way, I can't support her.
Laid it on a bit too thick imo. Why throw herself and her cred under a bus for ol' McTurd? OR the RNC? They hate her. Her history in Alaska speaks volumes about going against the Party grain. She's NEVER sold out for power, yet you fully expect her to now because of her comments about McCain? I'm not buyin' it.
Or that she bought 150 grand worth of clothes? Or any of the hundred other ways they slighted her,including McLunatic going on national tv after the election and saying in response to a question about her that she wasn't a serious candidate for president and she wasn't qualified or experienced enough? Yeah,I can see why she would want to show him some courtesy after all those favors. Hey, I hear ya Pete, Palin "owes" McCain jack-squat - or rather a boot in the azz and a cup of Kool-ade flung in her face. He knew damn well the plan was to screw with Palin's head. I dunno what her Game Plan is in showing McCain mercy - much less her comments which again I think were pure baloney. As to that meeting, I can see McCain was begging her just NOT to take sides against him in his upcoming election during their meeting. How it all goes down is going to be quite compelling.

No,as you well know,I was prepared to support her because I suspected she might be a real deal conservative,and THAT is the persona we would see emerge,not Sarah,the RINO. Saying she supported him 100% and would work for his re-election was the last straw for me. She wasn't asked about any of that,she volunteered it. Unless she comes out slamming him and the other RINO's as the traitors to America they are,I am done with her. I wouldn't have demanded that before today,but after today I do demand it.
