Title: "WHO AM I TO JUDGE A GAY PERSON?" says Pope Francis

While his statement is correct and in line with the teachings of Our Lord, it lacks the second part: the diabolically planned omitted truth that crowned him as the "Gay Pope", the "Cool Pope", the "Human Rights Pope". Here is the result of the infallible marketing strategy behind such statement:

But what is wrong with such loving and tolerant declaration? First, he was asked by a reporter about the status of homosexual priests. Bergoglio's answer was given as a personal one by saying "who am I to judge?". Why did he make it personal? Is he not supposed to answer what the Catholic Church teaches based on the Word of God? Wouldn't he rather say "The Catholic Church says…" or "God teaches us that…". No. He chooses to bring HIMSELF in the center of the attention rather than Christ (Whom he does not even mention) as if his human and personal opinion was more relevant than those Dogmas he was entrusted with (but yet again: he's dressed like a pope, right?). The objective here is to make HIMSELF (and not Christ) look humble and loving to those who hate or do not know God. By using a teaching of the Lord to his personal advantage (in false humility he says he's not to judge) he misguides both believers and not believers into perceiving him to be modern, loving, tolerant and inattentive towards sin; he also cunningly draws a line between his way and the way of all who came before him in the name of the same Christ; therefore, in total invisible disobedience, pride, arrogance and vanity (masked by a facade of humility) he -and only he- appears to be loving, humble and merciful unlike both the old Church he represents (and towards which he already made a number of negative remarks) and the Head of it: Jesus Christ. This way, he first makes sure to steal Jesus' position as absolute head of the Church whose opinion is the most important, humble, loving and REVOLUTIONARY. Now: by omitting the rest of the Truth, which could have been expressed in hundreds of possible ways, he completes his task: to appear pro-homosexuality without ever saying it (omission of Truth, by the way, is still considered a grave sin in God's Eyes). THIS is how Satan works, deceives the masses, and captures those who feel secure in their faith. Since Bergoglio knew very well that what he was doing would have gained him world popularity and mediatic power, it goes without saying that once those results were reached he would never attempt to combat against his own doing: he would never throw away the crown he so longed to have. THIS is how we must break down the fortress of lies to free the Truth trapped within it. Many Catholics, of course, would disagree with my words. To them I would ask to objectively try to "know them/him by their/his fruits" as they look again at the here above cover of America's #1 Gay Magazine THE ADVOCATE. Many of you would also say that it is the media doing so by manipulating this pope's words, but yet again: if Bergoglio found his words to be misunderstood (and the covers to be inappropriate) he would have already made public statements in order to clarify his position: so far he has failed to do so, therefore approving of what the media has constructed upon him.

I prefer the anti-Scientology crusade of AngryGayPope to this current bishop of Rome.

For that matter, AngryGayPope is much more doctrinally sound than Frank The Hippie Pope.

What I think that word salad is trying to avoid saying is the opinion that being homosexual is not a sin, but committing a homosexual act is a sin.

That can be disagreed with, but as far as I know, that has been Catholic teaching for decades, if not centuries.

Similarly, being a pedophile, being attracted to children, is not a sin, but acting on those impulses would be.

This is the case for most Christian churches.

A same sex attracted person can be church members as long as they are celibate.

I've encountered quite a few over at CF who are Catholics and some are Protestant as well. They admit homosexual relations is sin. The ones who throw all their energy into church work and fellowship seem to do well. This is usually the case because the particular church or parish is supportive.

The issue with the comments from the Pope is he is not clear on repentance. The turning away from sin. A church can accept repentant sinners as we are all sinners. It is the brazen sinner who does not recognize their sin as sin which cannot be accepted into fellowship and receive communion.

The left leaves this important fact out. Christians love sinners as Christ loved sinners. Repentant sinners that is. It is sharing the Hope that is Christ which gives us the power to be forgiven and delivered from sin.

The Pope seems to leave this out of his comments or the media decides not to include them.

I saw that a while back. Pope Frank does make a lot of loyal Catholics more than a little nervous about his conduct and public statements.

I grew up going to a Protestant Church, and those people considered heterosexual sex outside of marriage a sin that would condemn you to hell.

Hell, they even considered masturbation and sex dreams to be sins that would send you to hell to burn in hell's fire for eternity.

LOTS of double-talking hypocrites there. I know because some of them were my relatives.

If a Third Grader told you that fire was hot and to not stick your hand in it because you would get burned, does mean you won't because he is in the 3rd Grade?

The operative word in these matters is always repentance.

Regardless of sin, if one openly practices a sin and demands the church accept them, the church leadership in Holy Scriptures are to put such a person out of fellowship. If repentant the person is to be restored to fellowship and treated with Christian love and grace.

I'll give an example which does not involve sex.

If I showed up to church with alcohol on my breath and clearly not sober, I would expect the pastor or elders to privately ask me what's going on and why I would come before the Lord's Table in such a way. How I would respond has important consequences. If I say 'I had a moment of weakness and depression and drank way too much last night.' If I am truly repentant for doing such a sin, the elders would embrace me and help me. They would then advise me to not partake of communion in such a temporary condition. They would pray and I would seek God's forgiveness and the forgiveness of my fellow church members.

Now if I got defensive and did not think I sinned and should be accepted as a drunkard, then I should be put out of fellowship as I am unrepentant.

The operative word in these matters [of repeated hypocrisy and license to sin at will] is always repentance.

Regardless of sin, if one openly practices a sin and demands the church accept them, the church leadership in Holy Scriptures are to put such a person out of fellowship. If repentant the person is to be restored to fellowship and treated with Christian love and grace.

Well stated and explained.

We are all hypocrites.

And it is understandable that hearts become hardened when church leaders are seen acting as if they possess impunity and immunity from their ongoing wrongs. Or only *they* can dispense forgiveness or grace when it is not theirs to dispense.

It should be remembered that these men do NOT represent the words, acts, and Gospel of Jesus Christ. One should not look to them as arbiters, judges, or agents of Jesus or God; Same of the Vatican's reps, be they priests, Bishops, or a Marxist, anti-Christ Pope.

A spiritual personal relationship with Jesus Christ or God needn't an intercessor or "Church". Ergo, "religion" doesn't apply. Understanding the Word, sincere Repentance, and simplicity of the Gospel do apply.

I would not spite my own eternal soul to avenge those who subverted the Word in the first place. Many a person who's *wanted* to believe have been turned off by such charlatans. Until The End.
