ObamaCare is flat-lining and wrecking our health care system, just like conservatives and many Republicans said it would. So why is Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) and Republican Leadership trying so hard to save it?
Late last week, McConnell threatened to use Democrat votes to pass a taxpayer-funded ObamaCare bailout unless Republican Senators support his so-called "Better Care Reconciliation Act."
The Better Care Reconciliation Act -- more accurately called ObamaCare Plus -- does not repeal ObamaCare, and in fact keeps the bulk of our government-run health care system in place.
Republicans ran in 2016 on a platform of repealing ObamaCare "root and branch."
Now those same trickster politicians are trying to force ObamaCare Plus on the American people.
Instead of pulling the plug on ObamaCare while using its collapse as a cautionary tale against government overreach, Republican Leadership is pushing to EXPAND socialized medicine.
This is exactly the kind of two-faced treachery that your America's Liberty PAC was founded to expose and eradicate.
.
Mitch McConnell and Republican Leadership are leaning heavily on conservative Senators like Rand Paul (R-KY) and Mike Lee (R-UT) to toe the Party Line and sell-out conservative voters.
Leader McConnell's attempt to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory is a bitter pill to swallow.
Democrats should be facing the fallout of forcing disastrous policy on the American people.
Instead, the Democrat Party is seeing dollar signs at the prospect of insurance industry lobbyists flush with Mitch McConnell's bailout cash.
And radical progressive Senators like Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders are crying crocodile tears as they eagerly await ObamaCare's failure to push for government-monopolized single-payer health care.
Rand Paul's ObamaCare Replacement Act would create conservative, market-based solutions to our health care crisis by: >>> Allowing people to make unlimited contributions to their Health Savings Accounts (HSA), with up to $5,000 eligible for a tax credit;
>>> Allowing Americans to pay for health insurance premiums, medications, certain medical equipment, and other medical costs out of their HSA;
>>> Giving people who purchase health insurance themselves the same tax deduction as individuals who purchase insurance through their employer;
>>> Allowing both individuals and small businesses to join Individual or Association Health Pools, which will enable them to leverage lower prices with the insurance companies.
These are the free-market reforms Republican Leadership should be fighting for.
Unfortunately, they're twisting the arms of every Republican Senator who might otherwise oppose their ObamaCare Plus bill.
They can either support Rand's ObamaCare Replacement Act and reject ObamaCare Plus, or they can lose their jobs.

Democrats are easily despised; however, the damned Republicrats are contemptible.
