Anthony Weiner is expected to plead guilty Friday to charges he sexted with a minor last year, according to a report.
The scandal-scarred former congressman will cop to a single charge of transferring obscene material to a minor as part of a plea agreement with the US Attorneys Office in Manhattan, The New York Times reported.
Feds have been investigating claims that Weiner, then 51, sent a 15-year-old North Carolina girl inappropriate messages starting in January 2016.
The charge carries a potential sentence of 0 to 10 years in prison. A likely result of his plea is that Weiner will end up a registered sex offender, The Times reported.
