During a field sobriety test, she touched one of the officers on the back and said "I feel like kissing you." When she was finally taken into custody, the arresting officer said she kicked him in the groin and continued to kick the passenger-side door. Despite a 10-year-old being inside her car at the time of the crash, prosecutors did not charge her with child abuse. They did charge her with DUI, DUI with property damage, careless driving and battery on a police officer. Following her arrest, the Miami-Dade school system fired her.
