'Dumb as a rock': Donald Trump rips 'lightweight' Don Lemon

Business Insider

8/10/2016

Allan Smith

Donald Trump ripped CNN anchor Don Lemon on Twitter on Wednesday after a heated Tuesday-night segment on Lemon's show surrounding Trump's latest controversy.

In the tweet, Trump praised Dan Bongino, a former Secret Service agent who is running for Congress in Florida as a Republican and who defended the Republican presidential nominee's comments from a Tuesday rally in North Carolina.

".@dbonginoYou were fantastic in defending both the Second Amendment and me last night on@CNN," Trump posted.

"Don Lemon is a lightweight — dumb as a rock."

Trump has a twitter finger that'll keep getting him side tracked. He absolutely needs to focus on Slithery.

She's not the lock so many gopers seem to believe she is but Trump needs discipline and focus--there's simply too much at stake.

Trump needs discipline and focus

The Republicans need to adjust to the personality of their leader, and accept that he is always going to be spontaneous and say what he thinks.

Things will never be smooth and comfortable, and polite and politically correct with Donald Trump.

His a brash, in your face New Yorker, and he always will be. People have to adjust to the new reality, which is him. He is not going the change to suit them.

Or people can adjust to Hillary.

Either way, Donald will be fine, with his personality intact.

It's the people who have to compromise. After years of being taught that everybody has to watch what he says, be focused, disciplined, a very successful loudmouth is running who is not going to do that. His personality is what it is, and you will take it or leave it. If the people leave it, he will still be a billionaire, still have a beautiful wife and family, still have massive projects, and will be flying high.

But the people will be stuck with a pathological liar who is much more careful in what she says...and if she's wrong just lies anyway.

The people have to decide where they are going to compromise. Donald isn't going to change anything about the way he communicates, and people need to grow up and accept that they have to choose between a brash blowhard and a lying snake. The blowhard will not cease being a blowhard, and the snake will not cease being a snake.

The issue is not whether Republicans like Trump's lack of focus, but whether it hinders him from beating Hillary.

A government strong enough to impose your standards is strong enough to ban them.

The issue is not whether Republicans like Trump's lack of focus, but whether it hinders him from beating Hillary.

And that is a question for Republicans, not Trump.

If the Republicans turn out to vote for Trump, he will win. If they refuse to, he will lose.

Trump is Trump. He has his personality. He's not going to change it. The same thing is true for Hillary. She is who she is, and we've all known her for years.

Democrats will vote for Hillary, because she's a Democrat. The Independents have broken for Trump. The reason Independents are independent is because they think both parties are bad. They like Trump because he's different.

Usually, that would mean a victory for the Republican, because usually, the Republicans will vote for the Republican just like the Democrats will vote for the Democrat.

So usually the candidate who gets the majority of the Independents wins the election.

This time, Trump already has the majority of the Independents, by enough to win, IF the Republicans come out to vote for him.

But now we see in Republican ranks, specifically there, something like one in five crossing their arms and refusing to vote for Trump. That is a big enough difference to make sure that Hillary wins.

So it really is a question of whether or not Republicans will accept Trump's personality and "lack of focus" in communication. So far, the answer for a fifth of Republicans is "No", and that means President Hillary Clinton.

Trump won't change, so if the Republicans don't want Hillary, they will have to. That fifth that are currently refusing to vote for Trump will have to decide that Hillary is so much worse, they'll vote for Trump.

Will that happen? If the election were held today, no. But there is time for disasters to unfold in the world. There is time for things to occur, for debates, for all sorts of issues to arise. Something may either jog the current Republican refuseniks to come over to Trump, or may jog a huge number of Independents and working Democrats to break for Trump.

If that happens, then Trump will win, and that fifth of the party that tried to defeat the Republican nominee will be crushed and driven out of every party office, changing the face of the power structure of the party.

The Republicans are willing to gamble that Hillary is a better choice for President than Trump is. With all that is known to us about the bitch, how much more do they know, and what amount of dirt must they all have to be afraid of her? To me, they are all in with the One World government, TPP and any other things that destroys all nations sovereignty, and with it individual liberty and individual rights. They will be wealthy, protected and worshipped for generations.

Exercising rights is only radical to two people, Tyrants and Slaves. Which are YOU? Our ignorance has driven us into slavery and we do not recognize it.
