Two people are dead and six wounded after a pair of gunman opened fire on a Houston neighborhood on Sunday, police announced. Houston police responded to a report of a shooting in progress at 10:15 a.m. and arrived at Memorial Drive where at least one suspect repeatedly shot at officers, Police Chief Martha Montalvo said at a Sunday afternoon news conference. "Our primary responding officer is lucky to be alive and was unhurt when the suspect opened fire on his patrol vehicle as it arrived on scene," police wrote in a Facebook post alongside photos of the car riddled with bullet holes. Local residents were told to stay inside or "avoid the area." An officer fatally shot one of the suspects and the other was injured and taken to a hospital in critical condition, officials announced in another Facebook post. "An active shooter fired shots from a high powered weapon and caused multiple bullet strikes to one of our HPD helicopters," police wrote, noting that none of the officers in the chopper was injured. Police said one citizen was fatally shot in the head inside a vehicle and the circumstances surrounding the death were not immediately available. Montalvo said two deputies and three citizens were wounded in the shooting. While police said they do not know the conditions of the wounded citizens, the two injured deputies are "expected to be okay." Police are talking to local residents to make sense of the incident. His claim to fame as an enforcer of law and order was the one time he spent only one night with Chris Wilcox’s Minuteman Project near our Sothern border with Mexico just South of Sierra Vista, Arizona, patrolling to help prevent entry of illegal aliens. He tried to bask in the glory forever for the single one night event with his braggart posts on LP. But he was shot down by Mel, who reposted his name and address from a post in which he exposed himself on another forum. He then blew his top and alleged that Mel had caused a bunch of illegals to do a massive drive-by shoot-up on his house in Riverside. You should have been on LP at the time, you would have laughed your ass off at Buckhole … like everyone else did.
