Donald Trump, you are the MAN!

"Make America Great Again!"

How? More war in the ME? Recreating a military that is already the largest among all nations?

Do you notice when you pay your homage to "the MAN," that he says "again?" America became the greate3st power the world has ever seen by winning WW2. The world was in chaos and America rose from the ruins. That was when "America was great;" it was about war and the spoils of war. And that is the only way America may become "great again."

The world was in chaos and America rose from the ruins. That was when "America was great;" it was about war and the spoils of war. And that is the only way America may become "great again."

Do you notice that you said America “was great” and America may become “great again.” You did say that and you are now in complete agreement with Donald Trump and the majority of Americans.

Millions of American have become increasingly worried about our country. In surveys dating back 40 years, for the first time a majority of Americans (53 percent) now believe that the U.S. plays a less important and powerful role as a world leader than it once did. Even more Americans (70 percent) think the U.S. is less respected now than in the past.

Donald Trump is so popularly accepted because he shares the views of the majority of Americans and speaks to their needs. In that our country has lost respect and influence in the world because of a combination of events, leadership and the growth of other nations in the world has weakened our position to lead and negotiate fair trade deals.

Bucky, you live in a fantasy Paultard world. It is time for you to leave your fantasy Paultard world and move back to the real American world. If you repent and if you are sincere, then I will give you a letter of recommendation and you will be welcomed. I am truly a magnanimous person who can be so very generous and forgiving. You need to get to knw me better.

You probably mean that was when America became a “super power.”

A common problem with terminology is that some fail to realize the importance and indeed the requirement for its proper use.

Of course everyone should know that American became a “super power” during World War II.

However, a more important consideration is the time when American became more than just 13 colonies and a country to be respected/feared as a “great power.”

It can be persuasively argued that this moment in American history was the voyage of the Great White Fleet.

I agree that the perception of the U.S. becoming a “great power” is probably coincident with the fleet’s circumnavigation, but the reality may not have been until the Washington Naval Treaty of 1922.

Naturally, it is all debatable. What does Scruffy think?

Donald Trump is so popularly accepted because he shares the views of the majority of Americans and speaks to their needs.

"Might makes right." Yeah, typical slogan of a 21st century fascist.

“Might makes right.” Nah, it’s the “will of the people” that makes right. We are living in a very intense and very responsible time of our political existence. The American people are very angry. There is anger at the lack of jobs, anger over class warfare, anger at political correctness, anger at the mainstream media, anger at losing job security and employer-based health care. But more importantly, the majority of Americans are angry that a way of life they have known is now slipping away never to return.

To tap into this anger and because he deeply shares the feeling of the majority of Americans, along came Donald Trump. The majority of Americans realize they have never encountered a person like Donald Trump. Trump sounds a call to all discontented Americans, and they responded in great numbers. Trump’s message to the discontented masses has at times been blunt, crass and even vulgar. But he continues to get attention by expressing the anger. Trump has cemented his status as his own man and he has without question tapped into the spirit of anger felt by the majority of Americans.

You need to stop trying to deny or suppress the inevitability of Trump becoming president by attempting to dismiss Trump as a fascist. Start to respect the “will of the people” and let them decide who their leader will be. Remember, it is not that “might makes right” … it is the “will of the people” that makes right.

We got your ticket.

Great! Then you can validate it because I will be voting a straight Republican ticket with Donald Trump at the top, leading the way to renewed prosperity for America.

Try "Constitutionally-based representative REPUBLIC" on for size. We are and never were defined as a democracy by the Founding Fathers. In fact, they made a point out of democracy always failing because it always results in mob rule, national bankruptcy, and anarchy.

The terms “republic” and “representative democracy” are used interchangeable ... the political science literature. They are a form of democracy distinct from another form known as direct democracy.

A number of years ago Karl KurtzI coauthored a college textbook with professors Alan Rosenthal, Burdett Loomis and John Hibbing, Republic on Trial: The Case for Representative Democracy. Here is what they said in the first paragraph of that book:
After the Constitutional Convention, Benjamin Franklin was asked what kind of government the framers had produced. “A republic if you can keep it,” he replied. The American republic is synonymous with representative democracy, the political system through which citizens govern themselves. Representative democracy is democratic in that the people have the power to choose those who govern; it is representative in that the people themselves do not govern but leave governance to the agents they elect. The engines of representative democracy are Congress at the national level and legislatures at the state level, with the executive and judicial branches playing important supporting roles.
The fact is that neither republic nor representative democracy is ideal from the standpoint of marketing or promoting public understanding. Both of them draw blank stares when presented to focus groups of young people (or adults, for that matter). "Republic" is not at all well understood. About the only time it is used in popular communication is in the formulaic recitation of the Pledge of Allegiance. And "representative democracy" is a nine-syllable mouthful so unfamiliar that many people have difficulty pronouncing it. I have cringed as trained actors stumble over these words in rehearsals. To get around some of these problems, we often use the terms "American republic" or "American democracy" to suggest that we in the United States have evolved our own particular kind of governance--one in which the people have the ultimate authority but they exercise it through their elected represenatatives. But these terms require explanation, too. If we were corporate marketers, maybe we would go the Xerox or Exxon route and simply invent a new one or two syllable word with memorable spelling for our system of government. "Amgovv" anyone? On second thought, forget it. Let's live with what we've got--republic or representative democracy, whichever you prefer--and do our best to help people understand the virtues, values and flaws of our governmental system.

If you want the most technical term, our country is a constitutionally limited representative democratic republic. Our form of government, the constitution limits the power of government. We elect representatives, so it's not a pure democracy. But we do elect them by majority rule so it is democratic.

The terms “republic” and “representative democracy” are used interchangeable ... the political science literature.

That's like saying the words "up" and "down" are interchangeable because they are both directions.

The left started describing America as a democracy in order to make more Americans identify with the communists, and to consider them an acceptable form of government. Every generation of American since the 1920's has grown up being taught in public school that "America is a democracy" because democracies are leftist wet dreams. As dumb as they are, they are smart enough to understand that the people who win word games and get to define the rules are the people that win the political battles.

Words do mean things. Sometimes even simple words have complex and wide-ranging meanings.

WHY TRUMP MORTGAGE FAILED AND WHY IT'S IMPORTANT TO YOU.

"Sometimes by losing a battle you find a new way to win the war.” ~ Donald Trump.

Some business “wars” that Trump won:

Grand Hyatt Hotel
Trump bought the former Commodore Hotel, which had fallen into relative disrepair, from Penn Central Railroad in 1974 and after six years of construction, the Grand Hyatt Hotel debuted. Smack dab in the heart of New York City, with the image of Grand Central reflected off its glass façade, the 34-story hotel is still booming business today.

Trump Tower
Trump broke ground on his now-famous 48-story Trump Tower in 1980. The luxury high-rise opened in 1983 and, with upscale restaurants and stores located in the mostly residential building, is still highly sought after real estate.

Wollman Rink
Trump renovated Wollman Rink in 1986 after contacting Mayor Ed Koch and offering to complete the renovation for $3 million. He finished the project on time and $750,000 under budget. Wollman Rink remains a Central Park fixture with more than 5 million annual visitors.

40 Wall Street
Trump purchased the building in 1995 for $1 million and renovated it for $35 million. Today, 40 Wall Street, one of the tallest office buildings in downtown New York, is worth over $500 million.

Trump Place
After years of negotiations, Trump finally broke ground on Trump Place, the gargantuan housing development along the Hudson River. The development includes 25 acres of open space and 5,700 apartments housed in 18 residential buildings.

The Apprentice
The Apprentice premiered on NBC in 2004 to great ratings. Trump served as not only the host but also the executive producer, raking in $1 million per episode. The show was successful enough that it inspired a spinoff, The Celebrity Apprentice.

Trump International Tower Chicago
Trump bought the former Chicago Sun-Times headquarters in 2005 for $73 million and converted it into the second tallest building in Chicago. It houses a hotel, condos, restaurants and shops, and was named Travel+Leisure’s best large city hotel in North America in 2010.

It is time to stop trying to be a smartass and look very seriously at the Trump candidacy. The rise of Donald Trump is not at all surprising. He is at the head of a very angry movement consisting of scores of millions of Americans who feel their country has been taken from them and mismanaged.

You are frenzied with your misplaced animosity towards Trump, and your hysteria is becoming extremely vociferous and utterly desperate as he steps outside the normal parameters of political discourse. Your wild posts conjure up the picture of you foaming at the mouth. Your stupid cartoon gif mocking Trump and your preoccupation with unserious matters are simplistic and moronic.

Some of you Paultards are so desperate and can think of no way to stop the Trump movement that the only thing you can do is continually accuse Trump of being on the brink of fascism. You do so while not stopping to realize that fascists are identified with the lawlessness, mob rule, racism, physical intimidation and the violent overthrow of democracy … none of which Trump supports of advocates. You are just frightened little people shooting off your mouths out of ignorance.

He [Trump]is at the head of a very angry movement consisting of scores of millions of Americans who feel their country has been taken from them and mismanaged.

The US Government is too large, sarge. You represent why the US government is too large, too. You receive an endless stipend from the US government for your service in the USAF for peelin' potatoes for a few years.

It must be a real shitting feeling for you to be a such a fatalist with the burdensome load to carry realizing that no matter what you or anyone does, the morbid outcome will be the same because it’s predetermined. But, don’t feel alone because there are other fatalists on the forum who also share your sense of being completely powerless to change the world. Well, never fear because the ole sarge is here to tell you there is hope for you. It is time for you to shake your fatalistic attitude and realize that no problem is too large to solve … and Trump is “the man” to solve large problems.

Trump has been handling these problems for years. Trump will handle the too large government by downsizing all federal departments and cut the most harmful programs that have been causing spending to rise, making deficits chronic and have forced accumulated debt to reach dangerous levels … all of which are undermining our economic growth and will probably push our nation into a financial crisis. Economic growth will result from the federal spending cuts. These cuts will give people more freedom and better control over their lives and a byproduct will be the reduction of the massive amount of regulations that come with large spending programs. Donald Trump with his business expertise is the man to handle this.

It is time for you to get on board the Donald Trump success train that is leaving the station now … “All Aboard!”
