The Establishments war on Donald Trump Title: Ten reasons why the Trump Train's given the cocky, lazy, PC-crazed Washington elite the spanking it deserves- and left Hillary shaking in her Goldman-financed boots Remember the movie, Unstoppable? A massive, highly-toxic locomotive roars out of control, threatening to cause devastating havoc. To start with, nobody takes the threat seriously; its deemed a coaster that can be easily stopped. But by the time the rescue team catches up with it, the trains running on full power and has accelerated to maximum speed. At this point, the horrified experts consider deliberate derailment. The result? The train, by now a steaming, hooting, hissing beast, simply charges through the attempted derailment. I wont spoil the ending for those who havent watched it. +4 The Trump Train has decimated 17 Republican opponents - and Tuesday night sealed the deal and became the presumptive nominee Ted Cruz 'is one hell of a competitor': Trump as Cruz drops out But I cant think of a more perfect metaphor for this presidential race, in which Donald Trump last night all but sealed the Republican nomination. The Trump Train has so far run over 17 Republican opponents, and swatted away a derisory effort by GOP grandees to derail it. Now it has the Clinton Chariot in its sights, and anyone who thinks they know the outcome is talking out of their derrière. Its going to be the greatest collision since Muhammad Ali climbed into the ring with George Foreman in Zaire 42 years ago for the Rumble in the Jungle, and just as unpredictable. But the more immediate story today is how Donald Trump has waged one of the most maverick campaigns in political history to storm to a place in this race which barely anyone thought possible. Regardless of whether you agree with him or not - to say the jurys split on that verdict is the understatement of the Millennium! there can be no doubt that he has electrified U.S. politics in a way nobody has ever seen. Here are 10 reasons why Trumps torn apart the lazy, arrogant, detached Washington elite in America and left Hillary Clinton quaking in her Goldman Sachs financed boots. US Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump smiles as he arrives to speak in New York on May 3, 2016, following the primary in Indiana. Donald Trump crushed his Republican rivals in Indiana's primary Tuesday, bringing him to the brink of outright victory in the presidential nomination race and dashing the hopes of a movement bent on stopping him. Trump says he's vetting 'political' VPs as he prepares to... You're hired! Trump is the presumptive GOP nominee as... Republicans burn registration cards and rally behind the... 1) Hes the ultimate outsider. Trumps not a politician and he doesnt speak or behave like a politician. Hes his own man, good, bad and ugly, and his campaign has so far been all of those things. It may not be pretty, it has definitely been regularly offensive, but its also been spectacularly successful. To deny that is to be a particularly stubborn, blinkered ostrich with ones head implanted 3ft under the sand. 2) Hes direct. Americans are sick and tired of bulls**t, especially when its spouted from the mouths of politicians. Trumps appeal comes from his natural aversion to political correctness, and his willingness to speak his mind even if it upsets people. It means he occasionally goes too far, stumbles or performs instant U-turns. But he can afford to do this because he can afford to do this
running your own business empire with assets worth $10 billion means you dont have to worry about getting fired, running out of cash to campaign if donors flee in disgust, or falling prey to lobbyists trying to buy your favour. 3) He knows how to close a deal. Trumps spent his whole life doing it and his modus operandi is now clear for the world to see: hit your opponent as hard as hell, get what you want, win, then shake their hand and tell the world how great they are. The way hes seen off 17 candidates so far has been extraordinary to observe. Young, old, male, female, white, black, Latino theyve all been despatched with a ruthless cocktail of headline- grabbing stunts and speeches, and an ability to unleash devastating retaliatory strikes at a speed of 0-DEFCON 1 in five seconds. 4) Hes owned the media. And I mean OWNED. Its comical to watch Americans finest journalists now competing to beat themselves up over who most underestimated the Trump Train. They all spent months and months gleefully handing over their airspace and newspaper pages like wilful, helpless sado- masochists offering up their tied, blindfolded torsos with the compliant enthusiasm of Anastasia Steele to Christian Grey in 50 Shades of Grey. No good complaining about the journalistic integrity bruises and shame afterwards, everyone! You BEGGED him for it.. Trump never wanted to be a governor or senator like Ted Cruz and doesn't give two hoots about professional politicians - and he has left a trail of their bodies in his wake Truump never wanted to be a governor or senator like Ted Cruz and doesn't give two hoots about professional politicians - and he has left a trail of their bodies in his wake 5) Hes been very tough on the key issues about which many millions of Americans crave toughness from their current leaders but dont feel theyre getting it: immigration, terrorism, jobs and China. Trump hasnt mucked about, hes gone straight for the rhetoric jugular; screaming for his Wall to stop illegal Mexicans entering the country, a short-term Muslim ban to figure out whats going on with Islamic fundamentalists, a devastating blitz to wipe out ISIS, and new trade deals to stop Chinas rape of the U.S. economy and labor markets. His messages are short, simple, explosive and eye-catching. That, whatever your view of his comments, is good politics. 6) He doesnt give two hoots for professional politicians. Because Trump has no aspirations ever to be a Governor, Senator or Congressman, he hasnt had to care for any of the usual unctuous sucking-up rules of Washington engagement. Someone attacks him, he attacks them so hard back they wish theyd never started. Trumps campaign is littered with the political corpses of those who tried to dance with the Donald. Just ask Mitt Romney or Jeb Bush. Both went to war with their conventional political weapons, only to find Trump was deploying the nuclear equivalent and they got instantly vaporised. 7) He cracked social media. I loved Trumps tweets long before he ran for president because they were so outrageous, amusing and provocative. I assumed hed tone them down once he entered the race, but if anything hes been even more controversial. With nearly 8 million followers now, Trumps got the perfect platform to vent his wrath, humour and political beliefs. That number dwarfs any other candidate and gives him a powerful voice thats resonated with many Americans. 8) He exudes chilling confidence. This has been incredibly infectious. Love him or loathe him, Trumps truly astonishing self-belief makes even his many enemies sit back in wonderment. Nothing seems to shake him or his implacable belief that only he can Make America Great Again. Americans like that in their leaders. Behind every good man is an even better woman and Trump has a veritable army- led by his daughter Ivanka and wife Melania, pictured flanking him Tuesday night 9) Behind every good man is an even better woman, so goes the saying. Trump has a veritable army of them now standing around him at public events, as we saw during his victory speech last night - led by his daughter Ivanka and wife Melania. Theyre all beautiful, independent females who look smart and sound smart. Thats a major electoral plus for Trump whos had to counter relentless allegations that hes sexist. The Trumps are a walking, talking, impossibly glamorous First Family in the making. Optics matter in an election and they LOOK the part. 10) Hes a winner. Now, theres no denying it. The critics poured scorn when he first entered the race last summer, most saying hed be gone in three weeks. The same critics then claimed in December that he had no chance of winning the Republican nomination. Now, as its clear that he has, theyve all trebled-down to insist he cannot possibly beat Hillary Clinton in a general election. Really? In England, a small soccer team called Leicester City just won the elite Premier League at odds of 5000-1. Nobody gave them a chance but a combination of strong leadership, high energy, sharp focus and sheer determination allowed them to beat off all-comers and pull off one of the greatest shocks in sporting history. How? The establishment teams just never thought it could happen
until it was too late. You can wave your POM-POMs all day for the guy/gal of your wet dreams to have the keys to the whorehouse. Yet, not one of these bastards know how to control the increasing national debt or the HUGE taxes we pay. The article sucks as it doesn't address the issues.
And it fully assumes that the dynamics of a GOP primary will carry over to a general election. The ~ 40% of GOP primary votes he got is about 15% of the general voters. So he got the one black GOP voter in MA. Its a new game now and we will see who makes up the rules of this one.
Trump will finish with more GOP primary votes than anyone in history. He not only wins GOP votes, but independent votes, and Dem crossover votes. By design, he is not looking to the GOPe to deliver drone votes, he is looking to expand the voter base outside the party. The GOPe can come along or be left behind. His opposition won a combined total of five primaries before throwing in the towel. Conventional wisdom predictions of general election failure come from the same people who continued to predict primary failure until they were steamrolled into submission.
In the election, he will DESTROY anyone that runs against him. Just watch. The Benghazi bimbo hasn't a chance... I'm the infidel... Allah warned you about. كافر المسلح
He just gave a speech in West Virginia, solid Democratic country and they loved him. A coal group has just endorsed him. He capitalized on Hillary's stupidity. The man does know how to take advantage of a situation and wastes no time doing it. GO TRUMP! T
