The Secretary of State’s office will be updating sdsos.gov in the next couple of days to reflect the new political party formation. 
Pierre, SD – Today, South Dakota Secretary of State Shantel Krebs announced that a new recognized political party has been formed. The Constitution Party submitted 7,655 valid signatures. The required number of signatures that must be submitted to form a new political party are 6,936 (2.5% of total vote for Governor in 2014: 277,403) (SDCL 12-5-1)

There is good news about roscoe. Honestly, I can't find it.
After glancing a little at the Clarion's website, I'm almost wondering if this new party is just a project for the Clarion's owner, Bob Ellis, and some of his friends and other Clarion writers. I think Bob Ellis really wants to get rid of his RINO congressman. It's very hard to move people in the Dakotas toward something like a third party. It's just not their kind of thing. After all, God invented two political parties so we don't need more! : ) Maybe you have to know the Dakotas a bit to get what I'm driving at. Really nice people but they don't exactly live on the edge. Even so, you can't ever win if your guy isn't on the ballot. So congrats to Bob Ellis and I wish him well.
