On February 5th, Breitbart News exclusively reported that Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-AL) 80% issued a list of five questions that all candidates must answer if they wish to seek the Republican nomination. In recent years, Sessions has emerged as the intellectual thought leader of the nation-state conservative movement. Sessions has articulated how mass immigration combined with reckless trade deals is compressing wages and decimating America’s middle class.

Sessions’ questionnaire consisted of five straightforward questions addressing immigration, trade, and crime in the United States.

The first candidate to reply to Sessions’ questionnaire was GOP frontrunner Donald J. Trump. In his response, Trump declares, “After my inauguration, for the first time in decades, Americans will wake up in a country where their immigration laws are enforced.”

Trump’s full, unedited answers to the Sessions’ test are below:

Question 1: How would you vote (or how did you vote) on fast-track, and would you support or oppose advancing a final trade agreement which enters the United States into a new international commission with binding authority on future United States trade policy?

ANSWER: I was steadfastly opposed to giving Obama his Fast-Track powers, and would have absolutely voted against it. This is one of the strongest distinctions between me and the other candidates in this race. The Congress, apparently under the magical spell of donors, gave massive new powers to a President who has repeatedly abused his authority. The other candidates in this race actually fought on Obama’s side to give him more power to abuse.

As for creating a new international commission with authority over United States trade policy I am, again, steadfastly opposed. No foreign power should be given any control over the United States. Yet the other candidates who supported Fast Track allowed President Obama to do just that. It’s not too late to save our sovereignty: when I win the nomination, I will put America back in charge.

Question 2: If the vote on the Trans-Pacific Partnership were held today, and you had a vote to cast in Congress, would you vote for it or against it?

ANSWER: I have strongly and consistently opposed the TPP. For decades, I have warned about how our terrible trade deals are killing the middle class. We are getting taken to the cleaners. My message on trade has been consistent from the beginning, and if politicians had listened to me years ago we would have saved millions of jobs, rebuilt our crumbling infrastructure, and saved trillions of dollars.

My candidacy is the only way to stop this terrible deal that will send our manufacturing – including our auto manufacturing – overseas.

TPP allows foreign countries to cheat by manipulating their currency, making it impossible for American companies to fairly compete. Yet other candidates in this race have voted in favor of the currency manipulation that is killing our middle class.

What our incompetent leaders don’t understand is that the United States holds all the cards. Other countries need access to our markets. Yet we refuse to use that leverage, and we negotiate one terrible job-killing deal after another. We buy from other countries, but they refuse to buy from us.

Under my Administration, we are bringing these jobs back to America. No more one-sided deals.

Stopping the TPP is a matter of economic security and national security. When I am the nominee, I will stop Obamatrade in its tracks and bring millions of new voters into our party — putting new states in play in the general election.

Question 3: Upon entering office, will you promptly and unconditionally terminate and rescind all of President Obama’s illegal executive amnesties – which provide work permits and entitlements to illegal aliens – including President Obama’s first executive amnesty in 2012, which remains in effect?

ANSWER: I will immediately cancel both of President Obama’s illegal executive amnesties, and all other unconstitutional executive orders. After my inauguration, for the first time in decades, Americans will wake up in a country where their immigration laws are enforced.

Question 4: A supermajority of GOP voters say immigration is too high. Every year, on autopilot, we let in another one million immigrants on green cards, 700,000 foreign guest workers, half a million foreign students, and 100,000 refugees and asylees. Historical precedent would be to reduce record-breaking immigration, rather than continuing to surge it beyond all historical precedent. Will you support legislation to reduce immigration numbers, and will you oppose legislation that would add to the number?

ANSWER: I will support legislation to reduce the numbers, and will oppose legislation to increase the numbers. I have laid out a detailed plan to accomplish this goal on my website www.DonaldJTrump.com. My suggested reforms include a requirement to give all open jobs to Americans first — instead of importing foreign replacements. This plan will appeal to voters from all walks of life by making it easier for workers in this country to find jobs and support their families. It will also help minority workers, youth, and previous immigrants who face intense job competition from waves of incoming foreign workers.

I also proposed a temporary timeout on Muslim immigration until we can figure out what is going on and get our security situation under control.

Question 5: Today, law enforcement are under increasing scrutiny and face excessive criticism from the political elites and the media, and are being targeted by criminals and terrorists. Meanwhile, since 2011, the federal prison population has declined by over 20,000, and is on track to be at its lowest level since 2005. Since 2009, the total state prison population has dropped every year, and is over 56,000 lower than it was then. These circumstances may have contributed to a nationwide spike in crime. The FBI recently reported an overall increase in violent crime and a 17 percent increase in homicides in the nation’s 50 largest cities. At the same time, the CDC reports that heroin and opioid drug overdoses have reached an all-time record high. Do you support efforts by President Obama and some Republicans in Congress to reduce penalties for drug-trafficking and further reduce the federal prison population, or do you think government should do more to keep drug traffickers off the streets?

ANSWER: The way our cops are being treated is terrible, and our spineless politicians are not defending them. Some politicians are mute, others are throwing fuel on the fire.

Policing saves lives, especially in our poorest communities. Policing makes schools safe, increases property values, encourages investment and job growth. We must stop attacks on police. I have been the only candidate with a clear message on this issue. As for drug traffickers, they are wreaking havoc on our communities and I oppose efforts to reduce penalties for drug traffickers: we must do more to keep traffickers out of our neighborhoods.

I have been pro-law enforcement all of my life. The American people are crying out for safer communities, and I will bring this message of supporting law enforcement and safe communities to a general election.

LOL, yeah, sure do.

I will have to say, that I believe that Obama had an agenda from day 1. That was to destroy the USA. And so far, he is accomplishing his mission.

That is why I have come to hate all those that voted for him. Even former friends.

I think you need to understand what Trump is preaching is protectionism and that is a two edged sword. Under a protectionist environment our industries thrived but it cost a lot. Cars cost twice as much as those made overseas and quality wasn't that good. We had a ship building industry, a manufacturing industry, a steel industry but all this had to go becuase the US wanted a level playing field, Now they complain this causes loss of their industries. Well welcome to the club of real life. I actually think it is poetic justice thet the auto industry has migrated south of the border, at least it didn't migrate to Asia.

There are some things it is important to keep at home, agriculture is one industry taht each country should protect because it is strategic and that is the measure of why an industry should be retained so what I say is piss off the rest of you we are important and we will decide what industries are protected

I think you need to understand that all of this idealistic philosophy about how "Free Trade" is superior to "protectionism" is being taken up by useful idiots. Following that has been great for those bent on bringing about a NWO, and has been devastating to the middle class. And, do not forget that there is a national security element involved as well.

If after the American Revolution we had adopted "Free Trade", we would still be a nation of farmers, and would have to buy all manufactured goods from foreigners. But, thanks to the wisdom of our Founding Fathers, we did not. And we grew to be the industrial giant of the world. Our enormous industrial capacity is what enabled us to start from nothing, and to arm up, and defeat Germany, Italy, & Japan, all within 4 years. But I guess that was because we were evil protectionists.

Spare me all the "happy, happy, joy joy " free trade is wonderful, and protectionism is Evil propaganda.

I don't really think you are that stupid, at least I hope not.

There are some things it is important to keep at home, agriculture is one industry that each country should protect because it is strategic

Guess we should stop complaining about cronyism then .Agribusiness sucks a lot of the tax money into their coffers . We in the US pay a fortune for sugar (15 billion since 2008) because that is a protected product. Yes very strategic .The United States currently pays around $20 billion per year to farmers in direct subsidies as "farm income stabilization.

Then the Trumpsters of the world belly ache when a company like Oreo ,that purchases tons of sugar for their production, decides to move their plant to where they can purchase one of their biggest commodities for much less .

New Zealand's farm reforms of the 1980s dramatically illustrate the point. Faced with a budget crisis, New Zealand's government decided to eliminate nearly all farm subsidies. That was a dramatic reform because New Zealand farmers had enjoyed high levels of aid and the country's economy is more dependent on agriculture than is the U.S. economy.

Despite initial protests, farm subsidies were repealed in 1984. Almost 30 different production subsidies and export incentives were ended. Did that cause a mass exodus from agriculture and an end to family farms? Not at all. It did create a tough transition period for some farmers, but large numbers of them did not walk off their land as had been predicted. Just one percent of the country's farmers could not adjust and were forced out.

The vast majority of New Zealand farmers proved to be skilled entrepreneurs -- they restructured their operations, explored new markets, and returned to profitability. Today, New Zealand's farming sector is more dynamic than ever, and the nation's farmers are proud to be prospering without government hand- outs.

Prior to the 1984 reforms, subsidies stifled farm productivity by distorting market signals and blocking innovation. Many farmers were farming for the sake of the subsidies. For example, nearly 40 percent of the average New Zealand sheep and beef farmer's gross income came from government aid.

When the subsidies were removed, it turned out to be a catalyst for productivity gains. New Zealand farmers cut costs, diversified their land use, sought nonfarm income, and developed new products. Farmers became more focused on pursuing activities that made good business sense.

Official data supports on-the-ground evidence that New Zealand greatly improved its farming efficiency after the reforms. Measured agricultural productivity had been stagnant in the years prior to the reforms, but since the reforms productivity has grown substantially faster in agriculture than in the New Zealand economy as a whole.

Since the reforms, agriculture's contribution to New Zealand's economy has remained steady at about 5 percent of gross domestic product (GDP). Adding activities outside the farm gate, such as processing of milk, meat and wool, agriculture is estimated to contribute over 15 percent of GDP. By contrast, agriculture's share of the economy has fallen in many other industrial countries.

With the removal of subsidies in New Zealand, agricultural practices are driven by the demands of consumers, not by efforts to maximize the receipt of subsidies. At the same time, the whole agricultural supply chain has improved its efficiency and food safety has become paramount. Businesses that deliver inputs to farming have had to reduce their costs because farmers have insisted on greater value for money.

More efficient agricultural production in New Zealand has also spurred better environmental management. Cutting farm subsidies, for example, has reduced the previous overuse of fertilizer. And cutting subsidies has broadened farm operations to encompass activities such as rural tourism that bring management of the rural environment to the fore.

The message to American farmers is that subsidy cuts should be embraced, not feared. After subsidy cuts, U.S. farmers would no doubt prove their entrepreneurial skills by innovating in a myriad of ways, as New Zealand farmers did. And we suspect that -- like New Zealand farmers -- American farmers would become proud of their new independence, and have little interest in going back on the taxpayer gravy train.

Now would be a great time for America to embrace Kiwi-style reforms because commodity prices are high and U.S. farm finances are generally in good shape. It's true that weather conditions and markets create ups and downs for agriculture, but over the long run, global population growth will likely sustain high demand for farm products. Some people claim that America needs to subsidize because other countries do. But unsubsidized New Zealand farming is globally competitive, with about 90 percent of the country's farm output exported.

The removal of farm subsidies in New Zealand gave birth to a vibrant, diversified, and growing rural economy, and it debunked the myth that farming cannot prosper without subsidies. Thus rather than passing another big government farm bill that taxpayers can't afford, the U.S. Congress should step back and explore the proven alternative of free market farming.

Tom I sometimes wonder what you are on, but I digress. kiwi has a wonderful agriculturatl industry, a little mono culture but there you are, if you want Carbinet Savignon wine, Cheddar cheese or frozen vegetiables they do well. I don't think they have heard of steak or corn but Kiwi fruit abound.

The thing is Tom I didn't suggest you subsidise the industry. just that you protect it becuase in case you haven't noticed certain things imported from asia are significantly cheaper but not produced to teh same standard.

The americans are single minded a little like their European cousins, they think you can't put a tarriff on something but you can give a farmer a subsidy in the hope the product will be cheaper on the market. this just makes the farmers lazy and they do things like producing crops for biofuel a really bad idea

Tom would be wise to listen to your post here. He could learn something.

Tom does't get this being an American thing and looking out for your people at the expense of other countries.

Tom wants to have a global government that manages out trade and tells us what laws to repeal.

Tom doesn't care that Oreos workers in America lost their jobs. He just cares that Nabisco can get some cheap sugar so they can make even more money.

Tom is not for America first, he isn't even for America second, third or fourth.... He is for a global government. He supports things like NAFTA, GATT, The Pacific deal. He wants a global infrastructure formed to tell us how to live.

I am America first ....American consumer 1st . Japanese consumers pay five times the world price for rice because of import restrictions protecting their domestic agri that only helps the wealthy land owners .

The same is true here . In an effort to protect domestic agri .the government gives all types of breaks to wealthy land owners and corporations . Why do you think the Hollywierdos buy big ranches ?They do it to put their money in an investment that the government props up with YOUR tax dollar . I see this all the time around here . A wealthy Manhattanite lib buys up some acreage and puts a couple of Alpaka on the land. BAM instant tax break !

I can't help it if you don't get that tariffs and subsidies harm the people .

Tom have you ever wondered why the is no Scriptural reference to such a great nation? Ar Mageddon means City of the Sanctuary, and signifies both Baghdad, the great city of the first sanctuary (the Garden of Eden), and Jerusalem which is home to three sanctuaries. The Battle of Ar Mageddon, which began on 9/11 when the Euphrates was dry, will end when one or both of the two great cities is split three ways. Then there will be peace for a thousand years.
