A University of Pennsylvania professor of religion recently called African-American presidential candidate Ben Carson a coon on Twitter.
Anthea Butler used the racist term in a tweet responding to a Sports Illustrated article on how Carson didnt mind NASCAR fans flying the Confederate flag on private property. If only there was a coon of the year award
she lamented.
Butler deleted the tweet when contacted by conservative student website Campus Reform. But Campus Reform managed to get a screenshot beforehand.

Butler has landed herself in water before, when she tweeted that God was a white racist after George Zimmerman was acquitted. The Ivy League professor later boasted that she couldnt be fired for anything she said because she had tenure.
