Many of you here are familiar with Matt Bracken, known as Travis McGee over at Free Republic. He is the author of several books, most notably his trilogy "Enemies Foreign and Domestic", "Domestic Enemies" and "Foreign Enemies and Traitors" as well as writing a myriad of other articles and short stories which are available at his website Enemies Foreign and Domestic. Most of us here would agree that he is a stand-up guy with an extensive background as a Navy SEAL. He was commissioned in the US Navy through the NROTC program at UVA, and then graduated from Basic Underwater Demolition/SEAL training class 105 in Coronado California. He served on east coast UDT and SEAL teams, taking a Naval Special Warfare detachment to Beirut in 1983. Mr. Bracken left active duty after Lebanon, upon completion of his obligated military service, but he remained in an active reserve status through the remainder of the 1980s. Matt appeared recently on "The Sunday Wire" radio program with host Patrick Henningsen to discuss Jade Helm 15 and give his insight into what he has discovered and believes the "exercise" is really about. Matt Bracken was born in Baltimore, Maryland in 1957 and graduated from the University of Virginia in 1979 with a degree in Russian Studies. He was commissioned in the US Navy through the NROTC program at UVA, and then graduated from Basic Underwater Demolition/SEAL training class 105 in Coronado California. He served on east coast UDT and SEAL teams, taking a Naval Special Warfare detachment to Beirut in 1983. Mr. Bracken left active duty after Lebanon, upon completion of his obligated military service, but he remained in an active reserve status through the remainder of the 1980s. Oh, he posted on FR....I see. I said that people would know him from there. He has a stellar reputation and is trustworthy. Now Bracken is saying it's a massive psyop campaign for social media, apparently to identify antigov trolls on social media and various websites. I kinda doubt he has any proof of this.

You don't even have to admit you are clueless. All you have to do is quietly back away. You can accept someone who left the military in middle 80s and lives on a boat in Florida to be a military expert who knows everything there is to know about Jade Helm….but don’t expect me to, because I will not. Yes, I will quietly back away from anything he has to say if he is qualifies himself as an expert….you betcha, I will and do so quickly. If he is simply giving his opinion like every has a right to, then that will be fine.

Bracken was an involved military professional and patriot. NO ONE "knows everything" about Jade Helm and the true nature of the mission. That's the way the military likes it. Meanwhile, you are free to accept whatever "official" source you consider an "expert" on the mission (and who exactly would be *your* sources again??) Amazing,ain't it? I have met socially and talked with a a couple of 2 stars and 1 3 star General officers,and met and talked with several 1 stars. These people are NOT dummies. They are very bright and driven people that make your typical Wall Street money-manager geek with a Type A personality look like a slacker by comarison. Specifically, what was Bracken talking about on Operation Jade Helm 15?
With emphasis on the "was." And by your own admission in no way qualifies him to give expert testimony on Operation Jade Helm 15.

That is never going to happen. Bracken is not permitted to wear the Navy Uniform. There is no authority under the Navy Uniform Regulations for the wear of the Navy Uniform by honorably discharged Navy veterans. Retired military members may wear the US Military uniform on certain occasions as authorized by Federal law (10 USC, 772).
For once, you are absolutely correct. And Bracken knows that same things you and I know. That being, what we have read and seen on TV.
