Across Massachusetts – and across America – thousands of schoolchildren are given sexually graphic, psychologically intrusive surveys by the public schools without parents’ knowledge. These surveys also ask youth to reveal their criminal activity, personal family matters, and other intimate issues.

This is done in the public middle schools and high schools during school hours. At best, parents are told about the surveys in vague terms, but are rarely allowed read them beforehand. The surveys are “officially” anonymous and voluntary. But they are administered by the teacher in a classroom and (according to teachers we’ve talked to) there is often pressure for all kids to participate.

The major survey given to kids across America is the “Youth Risk Behavior Survey” put together every two years by the national Centers for Disease Control and handed off to state and local education departments (which they can modify). And there are many similar surveys administered in various districts.

Here are questions from the actual “Youth Risk Behavior Survey” surveys given to children in Massachusetts schools, grades 7-12.

Lots of suggestions for the kiddies, and all of them bad.

Is there any chance that they might have said a prayer or something? Oh, they forgot to ask/suggest that.

Numerous constitutional and Bill of Rights violations here. The 4th and 5th at least as far as I can see.

The data mining on the personal sexual questions of pubescent teens (without parental consent) totally inappropriate.) But that's the perverted moral relativist/homosexual agenda playbook for ya RUNNING PUBLIC SCHOOLS.

And here the sneakiness also gets out of hand as parents are targeted for data mining.

This kind of infringement and coercive statism makes you want to track down those responsible and rearranged their totalitarian, perverted Leftist clocks.

I think most people who profess to be Christians don't really mean it. The left has systematically indoctrinated each generation, since they've gained control of the media and academia, with the idea that we are our own gods. There are no absolute truths now and there is only limited outrage.

I don't think very many people consider the implication of whether we have souls or not.

Yes. Particularly where parents can opt kids out and there is no way to penalize lying on these surveys to begin with. They are also supposed to be anonymous which nullifies a lot of privacy issues where the law is concerned.

Is this consitutional?

As a mandatory requisite, no.

It violates the 5th Amendment for self-incrimination (for possible future penalties and detriment as deemed by the state or might affect future personal relationships.)

It's also an indirect violation of the 4th Amendment which prohibits unreasonable searches and seizures (of coerced private information of both parents and minors by government representatives.)

We have turned away from a classical education to a pop culture secular approach. As a result people are unfamiliar with what Scripture actually says and churches have not done a good job of filling the void.

The anti-God crowd have succeeded in destroying freedom of thought with the PC "tolerance". My belief is this erosion of our society began with legalized abortion. Once we devalued life in relation to desire the progression of decline was set in motion. Now we live in a society where if you desire to engage in deviant behavior it's not only okay, but everyone is expected to embrace it as happy, healthy and normal.

That's the ultimate intention. After we've produced generations too stupid and self-obsessed with engaging in a swill of pathological trivia to do anything productive and serious, the next move will be to declare revolution in the name of overturning a failed system and the injustice of economic inequality.

Many preachers feel the have to tell folks what God really meant to say rather than study and tell them what God did say.

As an example, the girl preacher at the Methodist church in Kennebunkport, ME convinced the Bush family that Jesus didn't mean that you could only get to heaven thru Him, but that all who live a good life get into heaven. As a result Bush said that muslims could get into heaven if they lived a good life.

RLH: No we don't have to obey immoral directives.

BC: How do we judge which we are to follow and which are not?

Daniel chapter 3 and Acts 4.

In both cases men of God risked their lives keeping God's commands putting their full trust and faith in Him.

Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-nego; Peter and John resisted but did so without violence trusting in God's justice.

So no, Peter and John did not pick up a .50cal and mow down the Sanhedrin.

Until there is a fundamental change in human nature that fate awaits all societies of men.

My main point was, is and continues to be that the U.S. Consitution has been both bent and broken by either POTUS, Congress and/or SCOTUS virtually since its beginning. I just used Jefferson's unconsitutional act as an example of this and because Jefferson was a total hypocrite on several issues. I could just have easily used Adams and the Alien and Sedition Act or Washington's acts to quell the Whiskey Rebellion as the example.

My secondary point was, is and continues to be that Obama learned the lessons of such Consitutional abuse very well and that he is no more culpable than his predecessors in bending and breaking the Consitution but may just be more adroit at it. IMO that is why he became a Constitutional lawyer. Not to protect and uphold the Consitution but to hone the skills to utilize historical precedence to bend and break it to fundanentally transform America. He gets a A in my book for achieving his goals to date. {I know it won't be long for someone to accuse me of approving of or supporting Obama's agenda and/or his actions. Just wait.}

Wrong thread.

Wrong thread.

Love your passion, SOSO. I do. Many of your opinions are well reasoned and poignant. Nothing personal here -- let that other issue go.

Well back then they did not 'vote' for Caesar. We Christians in the USA can vote for their representatives in government.

Seems to be THE case.

Apple, Oranges...and now bananas?

This is truly sick. If my children were subjected to this, I would be there and have some strong issues with who ever was giving it.

Right behind ya.

We need a tidal wave of those who'd react EXACTLY as you would to this monument thinly veiled institutional intuitionist. WHERE ARE THEY??

We have turned away from a classical education to a pop culture secular approach. As a result people are unfamiliar with what Scripture actually says and churches have not done a good job of filling the void.

Yup.

Pop Culture disciples and their perverted secular humanist high priests are using public schools for NOT for the 3 "R's" but instead training young pods to parrot regurgitated social justice/anti-Scriptural propaganda and hatred for churches (and God.)

My belief is this erosion of our society began with legalized abortion. Once we devalued life in relation to desire the progression of decline was set in motion.

Overtly, yes, but the real erosion begin in earnest when Atheist Madalyn O'Hair in 1963 tossed out prayer from schools...leading to the removal of God, moral lessons, and righteous standards. The decline was rapid.

Now we live in a society where if you desire to engage in deviant behavior it's not only okay, but everyone is expected to embrace it as happy, healthy and normal.

That's true; evil = good, up = down, Moral = Intolerant, sodomy & queer is....honorable and "normal" instead of a sick insult to society, nature and God's law.
