Huge convoy of military vehicles in California adds to massive military buildup

(INTELLIHUB) — As the buildup to Jade Helm continues, new video footage out of Oroville, California shows a convoy of military vehicles as far as the eye can see.

A description on the video claims that the convoy was headed east away from California and that it could have reached as far as Texas at this point.

“A massive buildup, a lot of movement and its undeniable at this point.”

The video also shows military vehicles positioned outside a Texas Walmart and an array of military equipment in Oregon that the photographer noted was much more than is usually at the site.

This new footage comes at a time when military movements throughout the country are being seen at previously unheard of levels. From dirty bomb simulations to Marine preparation for riots in America, something is definitely up.

“Footage taken in late March 2015 highlights United States Marines practicing their riot control skills, complete with angry protesters confronting a group of armed military personal. The Operational Readiness Excercise took place at the Naval Weapons Station in Yorktown, Virginia and included infantrymen and artillerymen with Golf Company and Echo Battery, 2nd Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment,” reported Alex Thomas.

“Interestingly enough, the photos and video were actually released by the military itself in a move that shows that this training is actually something that they want the American people to see.”

“The Marines are training for riot and crowd control on American soil where Tea Partiers and Constitutionalists are constantly demonized by politicians and the media. In the event of civil unrest these same Marines could deploy this training upon Americans,” said Gary Franchi.

Note to Readers: One of the most important things to remember about Jade Helm 2015 is that no one knows for certain what the realistic military training exercise will actually end up being. It may be a massive training event for future civil unrest in America or it could be the reason for that unrest. What we can do now is cover all the issues leading up to the training and discuss what we believe to be the most likely outcome.

There is no Jade Helm “hoax”, the training is public knowledge and will happen one way or another.

The vehicles that are produced somewhere need to be shipped to somewhere else. Question: Are they all going to the same place?

Given that they are a) all on a train and b) hooked together, I'd guess yes.

The US government routinely moves military equipment around the country for defensive preparedness; it is performed for training and maintenance. This is the same or similar footage from over ten years ago for the same olde equipment.

People Panicing Over Military Equipment Shipped By Rail.

Imagine this: you see a train pass you by and rather than just having nondescript boxcars or inter-modal containers, it has *gasp* military vehicles on it. It’s as if the military sometimes has to ship vehicles from one place to another! Well, this has been happening, in fact, it seems that this activity is increasing and the result is about what you might have expected. Youtubers and conspiracy theorists are posting videos like crazy saying it is a sure sign of impending marshal law/genocide/mass imprisonment or something similar.

The simple answer as to why you might see tanks and large trucks on trains: they burn a lot of fuel. Trains tend to be more efficient as a means of transporting military hardware.

Also, treaded vehicles can’t be driven on US roadways, and even if they could, they are too slow to keep up with traffic on highways. They therefore must be transported by flat bed trucks or railroad. Rail is the preferred method when moving more than a small number.

There are a number of reasons why tanks and other equipment might be shipped in mass on rail:

  1. There is some kind of realignment or transition in the location of forces which results in it being sent between installations.
  2. It is required for a training exercise or some other temporary function.
  3. The equipment is new and being deployed to the location where it is to be kept.
  4. It is traveling to or from a facility where it has been refurbished or had other major maintenance preformed.
  5. It has recently returned from deployment overseas.
  6. It is on its way to deployment overseas.
  7. It is surplus equipment which is being disposed of, which could include any number of ultimate fates, including scrapping, sales to other armed forces, sales to private entities etc.
  8. It is being placed in long term storage in a location where it will be in “mothballs.” Typically this is at one of a few large installations located in the Western US.

Transition of equipment by train is quite common and routine. It’s also nothing new. During the Second World War and into the height of the Cold War, military equipment trains were a very common site. Though the practice never really went away, it is not surprising that the practice would have recently increased in frequency.

The United States has withdrawn from Iraq and is currently drawing down troop levels in Afghanistan. The result of this is that huge numbers of military vehicles have been brought back to the US. These are likely to be shipped on trains to the facilities where they will be stored. It has been pointed out that many of the vehicles have been seen in green forest camouflage color schemes, leading to the claim that they must not be related to the activities in the middle-east. However, these vehicles may simply be those which have been displaced by the return of other vehicles, which has resulted in a huge realignment of assets.

One of the biggest realignments of vehicles is occurring with the MRAP or Mine-Resistant Ambush Protected vehicle. Thousands of vehicles of this type were purchased in huge numbers by the US military during the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. They are designed to be highly survivable when attacked by IED’s, landmines, rocket propelled grenades and other such weapons. This was a direct response to the tactics used against the US by insurgents.

The vehicles worked very well and resulted in a reduction in the deaths of soldiers from ambushes on convoys. However, the military now has thousands more MRAP’s than it requires. Although several thousand will be retained, more than 13,000 are in the process of being declared surplus. Some are being given to law enforcement agencies (which does present some concerns of the militarization of police forces) while others are behind sold to allied nations. Still others are off to the scrap heap or the bone-yard.

Transporting all these vehicles to reprocessing facilities and then to their ultimate fate represents yet another huge logistical challenge.

A few other things to consider (if we are to play devils advocate):

  1. Tanks are not very good for urban warfare. They might work for breaking down some of the initial barriers, but they are too big to go through narrow allies or streets, too heavy for many bridges and overpasses and pavement causes a great deal of wear on the treads (and the treads cause a lot of wear on the pavement). They’re better for warfare in more open and unsettled areas. Also, the sheer armor of tanks would not be necessary for war against the population, where they would likely only face small arms fire.
  2. Those big heavy vehicles use a huge amount of fuel, so if they are planning on actually driving them around, they would also be transporting an equal number of tanker trucks. In modern military activities, the logistics of fuel delivery turns out to be a huge issue. Raiding the local gas stations won’t keep them moving very long. The fuel tanks might be large enough to ferry the vehicles off the train cars, but sustained combat means huge fuel requirements.
  3. When military vehicles need to be brought to an area for something urgent, like combat, trains are not generally the best method for transportation. Trains are cheap, but they are slow, vulnerable, subject to delays etc. If they wanted to quickly deploy urban combat vehicles, they would airlift them in. That way, it could be done rapidly, before anyone even knew what was happening. Tanks can be brought in on large cargo planes. It’s fast and effective, but expensive.
  4. A train full of tanks is not going to do much good in declaring marshal law unless you can get the tanks off the train. That is more involved than you might think. It requires parking the train, separating the cars, with switching engines, rolling the tanks down ramps and removing any equipment used to secure them during transport. For a large train, this is not a trivial task. It requires a rail yard with the proper equipment, which exist on military bases, but not generally in random city locations.
  5. If they really wanted to hide them, it would not be that hard to put them in large boxes or just cover them with tarps to make it more discrete. Do you really think they would be doing this in broad daylight?
  6. Many of these videos are months old. A few are years old. This has been going on for a while. Granted, the government is slow, but that slow? How long do you think they are going do be doing this evil transportation before they pounce on you?

Please explain your reasoning to the approximate 90 member dead church-goers at the Branch Davidian church located at Waco, Tx.
I will explain the reason for the deaths to you. Three separate fires broke out simultaneously in different areas of the building. An investigation concluded that sect members themselves had started the fire. The Branch Davidians in the building suffocated from the fire, killed by smoke or carbon monoxide inhalation as fire engulfed the building. The reason the sect members left the plant in a sudden way was fire. Well, all but two of the sect members. Steve Schneider—Koresh's top aide, who "probably realized he was dealing with a fraud"—shot and killed Koresh and then committed suicide with the same gun.
Although I can not speak for them, it seems they left the planet in a sudden way.
Time is relative. Ergo, that is a way of saying that sometimes it seems to pass incredibly slowly….like when you’re bored. Other times, it flies right by….like when you’re having fun. Since I don’t think the Branch Davidians were having fun, I therefore think the standoff that lasted 51 days can in no way be considered “sudden.”

I must say, you have a perspective on life, much different from anyone else. Is it Nihilism? What is it?

Fanning the Flames of Waco

The lies about how the fire started commenced while the building was still in flames.

A Justice Department spokesman in Washington claimed that an FBI sniper using a rifle scope had seen a male Branch Davidian, wearing black Ninja-style clothes and a black hood, pour liquid on the floor behind a piano and then ignite it. The day after the fire, Jeffrey Jamar, the FBI’s special agent in charge at Waco, asserted that the agent saw a person “get down with cupped hands and then there was a flash of fire.”

At the criminal trial of the Branch Davidians in 1994, that story fell apart. FBI Special Agent Jack Morrison said that he could see, through a hole created by a tank, somebody bent or kneeling by an overturned piano. The man appeared to be washing his hands, although the sniper admitted on cross-examination that he could not see the man’s hands. The fire did not erupt while the man was in the sniper’s sight, though the sniper did see a fire shortly thereafter. However, pictures of the progress of the fire show that the area near the overturned piano (the front door) was not a starting point for any fire. No fire appears there until several minutes after the sniper’s observation. Photographs show no fire in that area while much of the rest of the building was in flames.

Attorney General Reno earned a congratulatory phone call from President Clinton the day after the fire because of her highly publicized acceptance of responsibility. She put the FBI in charge of investigating its own conduct at Waco. The resulting report was a sham and a cover-up. Although seven independent reviewers were appointed to examine the FBI report, the FBI withheld evidence from them, such as Branch Davidian leader David Koresh’s April 14 offer to surrender as soon as he completed his written interpretation of the Seven Seals from the Book of Revelation.

Today, Reno claims to be angry that the FBI has been caught lying about Waco for the last six years. This brings to mind Claude Rains’s line from Casablanca, “I’m shocked … shocked to find that gambling is going on in here.”

The FBI lied to Janet Reno right from the start: they told her that CS chemical warfare agent is a mild irritant, even though much smaller doses than were used at Waco have killed children. On the day of the assault, the FBI flagrantly ignored her prior order to back off if there was any danger to the children. When she had initially rejected the FBI’s plan for a tank and chemical warfare assault on the Branch Davidians, the FBI told her that “Koresh was beating the babies.” In fact, FBI listening devices revealed no such thing.

Now Attorney General Reno’s response to new revelations about FBI lies is to order another FBI investigation of the FBI.

It is undisputed that while the FBI tanks were conducting the chemical warfare assault, the Branch Davidians spread kerosene in the building, intending to light it if the tanks entered the building. Starting a massive conflagration would have been consistent with Koresh’s apocalyptic interpretation of the Bible.

However, if federal agents bear no responsibility for the start of the fire and for the deaths of 76 people, why has the FBI covered up so much evidence for so long?

Recent revelations show that the FBI did fire pyrotechnic grenades — fully capable of starting a fire — during the attack on the Branch Davidian home. The FBI now claims that those grenades were launched six hours before the fire began. Yet if this “innocent” explanation is true, why did the FBI not tell the truth from the beginning?

Even if one takes the current FBI explanation at face value, it shows the federal government’s horrible disregard for the children. Although CS chemical warfare agent is banned from international warfare by a treaty that the United States has signed, the FBI used it against children and babies, knowing that those innocents would be unprotected by gas masks, since their faces were too small to fit them.

After the fire, the FBI bemoaned the failure of the Branch Davidians to take refuge in the underground tornado shelter, where the air remained cool and fresh. Yet the FBI now admits that the pyrotechnic grenades were launched at the very beginning of the assault as part of a systematic plan to keep anyone from fleeing to the shelter.
