Opinions/Editorials Title: ‘Hug a Terrorist’ mentality following Paris attacks? ‘Hug a Terrorist’ mentality following Paris attacks? While 40 ‘world leaders’ were preening before cameras with linked-arms, during their highly flamboyant “Je suis Charlie!” march in Paris on Sunday, all five collared terrorist suspects had been released from custody by Parisienne authorities the night before. Was world attention deliberately drawn to the world leaders who stole the “Je suis Charlie” show rather letting focus fall on French authorities having to own up to the trail having gone cold in the hunt for Islamic terrorists, who slaughtered a total of 17 people, 12 at the satirical weekly newspaper, Charlie Hebdo , the cops outside hired to protect them, and four others during the ensuing operation to apprehend the perpetrators holding them hostage during the takeover of the kosher Hyper Cacher supermarket? And that’s just one of the tantalizing big question marks left hanging like gun powder in the air over the worst Islamic terrorist attack in modern-day Paris history. Wading through all the media hype, let’s go back to Question One when authorities said terrorists Said Kouachi and Cherif Kouachi had somehow left some of their ID in their getaway car. Then news was updated to reveal that the ID of the two had been left behind on purpose. If so, then why the attempt to disguise their identities with the ninja get-ups? Next come the question marks hanging over the head of the bikini-to-burka-wearing and crossbow-wielding Hayat Boumeddiene, common law wife of Hyper Cacher terrorist, Amedy Coulibaly. The elusive Boumeddiene, who appears to have been woven into the mainstream media script as being at the scene of carnage, then reported to have “escaped” unnoticed during the freed hostages chaos. That would make Boumeddiene as legendary as ‘White Widow’ Samantha Lewthwaite, widow of 7/7 London terrorist bomber Germaine Lindsay, who, in 2013 raced off on horseback to disappear forever in the snake-infested Somalian forest. In reporting on the Paris hostage horror, CNN’s Don Lemon said this did not seem possible. After a commercial break, the story then revealed that Boumeddiene was not at the hostage taking scene but somewhere else. More recent accounts speak of another accomplice with Coulibaly. If it was not Boumeddiene, then who was it? Boumeddiene next shows up having been spotted on a video taken at the Istanbul airport. Really? We can now trust the same Turks who allow ISIS recruits to travel freely through their country and the same ones without whom ISIS could never have gotten as big as it has? If there is a video of the still at large Boumeddiene (assuming that is her) getting off the plane in Istanbul, then should there not be a video of her getting ON THE PLANE IN MADRID? Where is the Madrid video? People of the West would certainly trust the Spaniards on this a lot more than the Islamist party that runs Turkey. Why the total and absolute silence on this video? If Boumeddiene got off in Turkey and there is video, then there must be video of her getting on in Madrid? Will we later hear of the video getting lost or stolen or not being available due to “technical difficulties” , “down for maintenance” or gone forever through computer virus erasing? Then there’s the suicide of early lead investigator Commissioner Helric Fredou challenging public credibility. Suddenly, he was overworked and tired and just decided to off himself after speaking to a family member of a Charlie Hebdo victim. Really? There has been very little mainstream media coverage of this. Has there been an autopsy? Cause of death quickly went straight to suicide. Why? Was it because he found out something and was murdered? If so, by whom? There are other stories in the Paris terrorist attacks that also go a long way to stretch credibility. Like the one about the Kouachi brothers allowing the man whose car was confiscated to get his dog before they raced off in his car. Then there’s the latest one reported today by Britain’s Daily Mail how 40-year-old Charlie Hebdo journalist Sigolène Vinson revealed how she stared into the killer’s ‘big, soft, troubled eyes’ as he told her ‘have no fear we don’t kill women’. (Daily Mail, Jan. 14, 2015) Perhaps the biggest question of all about the terrorist attacks in Paris could be: Is it the mainstream media or some other source attempting to leave the impression that terrorists let the owners of confiscated cars to first retrieve their pets and don’t kill women. Before we know it, we will be hearing that Islamist terrorists don’t kidnap, enslave, decapitate, crucify and bury their victims alive. Meanwhile, less than one week after the Paris terrorist attacks, Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi is waving the jihadist flag over America, having announced—in a closed door meeting yesterday—she would name the first Muslim lawmaker to the House’s Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence. “A senior Democratic aide said Rep. André Carson of Indiana would be named in the “coming days” to the key national security-focused panel. Pelosi (D-Calif.) told lawmakers of the appointment during the members’ weekly caucus meeting. (Politico, Jan 13, 15) “Carson would be the first Muslim to serve on the committee and was the second Muslim to be elected to Congress. He already serves on the Armed Services Committee and worked for the Department of Homeland Security’s Fusion Center — the clearinghouse established by the federal government to streamline data sharing between the CIA, FBI, Department of Justice and the military. “The intelligence committee will most likely tackle a series of high-profile international crises during the 114th Congress, including the threat of Islamic militants and Ukraine.” Also less than a week after the Paris terrorist attacks, the chant “Je suis Charlie!” has already been submerged by “Stand up for the Prophet!”, debut of which will be heard and seen in a pro-Islamist rally scheduled this Saturday in Garland.
