In 1930's Nazi Germany, Jews were registered and moved into isolated areas where they could be controlled. This is very similar to Gazans who are barricaded, 1 to 2 million people in an area the size of a city. Further, they are isolated economically, unable to live normal lives in ways that most of the rest of the world takes for granted. The Israelis do not allow them to fish more than 6 KM off the coast, which is sometimes reduced to 3 KM. Is there any legitimate reason for that? Imports of fuel food and building materials are very restricted, and exports to support themselves are similarly restricted. This has been the case for a long time. This is why I brand the actions of Israel similar to Nazi Germany. I find it very ironic that Jews are so keen on making sure no one forgets the holocaust, while at the same time they champion the isolation and deaths of those in Gaza. And yes, make no mistake that Israelis as a rule feel no remorse or compassion for the long standing plight of Gazans or Palestinians in general. For that matter, the Jewish faith teaches that non-Jews pretty much exist to serve Jews. That is wrong, just as Islam is wrong to teach the killing of anyone who does not accept Islam. It is a dangerous and elitist as the moral of the story is that Jews have spiritual sanction to use and abuse any non-Jews they like, and it absolutely gets in the way of any peace prospects in the region. The conflict between Israel and Palestinians did not begin last month. It's been going on for many, many years, and Israel won't mind it going on for many, many more. You talk about how people want Israel wiped out. But what about the people that want the Gaza Strip wiped out? If Israel could get away with it, they'd literally push all the people there into the sea. As for militant Gazans firing from civilian areas, I ask where else are they supposed to fire from? The Israeli military has forcibly cleared out some 40% of the Gaza strip creating a couple hundred thousand refugees in an already overcrowded area. And it's well established that punishing people collectively for the criminal acts of a few is a war crime. And that is what Israel is ignoring. Stone, do you believe God loves Jews more than he does non-Jews?
I believe God hates sin. I know God hates Islam. I would say God gives every one a chance of what they are going to do. That if he loves some more or not regardless those who follow and do what he says will be rewarded with life and those who don't will be condemned to hell. By that definition every Muslim that truly believes the Koran would be going to the hot place. I'm not going to respond to everything, but it's apparent from your answers that you do indeed have a double standard. Jews get one standard and everyone else the other. You also stereotype Muslims with a broad brush, and basically find justification for the embargoed status of the Gaza Strip, even though such embargoes themselves foster a state of war, saying it's okay for them to be treated as subhumans, because, I guess, that's what they are in your eyes. Saying it's okay to restricting their ability to fish is beyond the pale, really. Apparently Jews have a right to defend themselves, but not the Palestinians. $600K per rocket, with 2000 fired? That comes to $1.2 billion dollars worth of ordinance, not counting what they've not fired. Such a statistic is laughable considering the poverty that exists in the GS. The Old Testament has no shortage of instances where the ancient Israelites were supposedly commanded to kill all in the cities they took. That is clearly not a message of love to non-Jews. Orthodox Jewry teaches this. A self-fulfilling prophecy. Those who believe this have no hope of ever getting along with the rest of the world, and use it as an assurance that any and all conflict they suffer through is not their fault, and therefore they never even try to be a peaceable, respectful people. Do you find it as peculiar as I do that you didn't answer this question? I suppose that I should take that to mean the answer is "yes", even though it's clearly a non-Christian position.
Do you know what sin is? Do you not believe in evil? I don't think you believe the Bible. Which is your right of course, and your responsibility for that matter. God has a purpose for Israel. Part of that purpose was the birth of Jesus Christ and everything associated with his life. That wouldn't have happened if God allowed his people to be intermixed with evil people who would want to undermine his plan. That is the simplified short version.
South Carolina GOP Sen. Lindsey Graham sounded the alarm Sunday about the
growing threat of Islamic State launching an attack on American soil unless
President Obama takes more decisive action to stop the terror group’s surge
across Iraq and Syria. Graham, a member of the Senate Armed
Services Committee, told “Fox News Sunday” that the well-funded,
swiftly-strengthening organization, which has taken control of large parts of
both Middle East countries, is a “direct threat to our homeland.”
“Mr. President, be honest with the threat we face,” Graham said.
“They are coming.” Graham was critical of the president's decision
late last week to order a series of limited airstrikes at Islamic State military
installations in northern Iraq to stop members from killing American personnel
and the thousands of Christians, Kurds and others who have fled into the Sinjar
Mountains. However, he posed no solution or his own strategy, as
public-opinion polls show the American public is war weary and reluctant to send
U.S. troops back into Iraq. Graham’s argument also follows a Vice News
video that appears to show an Islamic State militant saying, “We will raise the
flag of Allah in the White House.” The video was released before Obama ordered
the air strikes, in addition to humanitarian-aid drops. Sen. Ben Cardin,
D-Md., told Fox News that he supports the president’s strategy, particularly the
humanitarian effort and repeated the administration’s argument that the best way
to stop Islamic State is for Iraq to develop a stronger, more-inclusive
government. However, California Sen. Dianne Feinstein, a fellow
Democrat and the chairwoman of the Senate Intelligence Committee, is taking a
more hawkish stance, similar to Graham’s. “It takes an army to defeat an
army, and I believe that we either confront [Islamic State] now or we will be
forced to deal with an even stronger enemy in the future,” she said Friday
after the airstrikes were announced. “Inaction is no longer an option.”
She and others have said for months that Islamic State is recruiting and
training fighters from Europe and the United States who could come home and
launch a terror attack. Graham also argued that Islamic State’s
nearly unchecked rise is the result of Obama failing last year to take action
against the group in Syria, even after the FBI and other U.S. intelligence
officials warned the White House and Congress of its growing, global threat.
“Your game plan cannot protect the United States,” Graham said Sunday,
addressing Obama. Such rhetoric tracks closely to that used in the
lead-up to the 2003 invasion of Iraq. In the wake of the Sept. 11, 2001,
attacks, lawmakers from both parties voted to give President George W. Bush the
authority to take military action against Iraq in the hopes of combating
terrorism. At the time, many said the United States faced a choice of
fighting terrorism on American soil or on foreign soil. Illinois
Democratic Sen. Dick Durbin, a close White House ally, said on NBC’s “Meet the
Press” that Islamic State fighters are a "growing and troublesome" threat but
“we must not send the troops." A breakdown in talks between Washington
and Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki that would have allowed U.S. troops to
remain in Iraq collapsed in 2008, and Obama withdrew troops in 2011.
Al-Maliki now is under mounting pressure to step aside, including requests from
U.S. lawmakers. The Islamic State group, which some lawmakers refer to
as ISIS, or the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria, is "getting stronger all the
time," warned Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz. "They have attracted
1,000 young men from around the world who are now fighting on their side," he
said on CNN's "State of the Union.” "This ISIS is metastasizing throughout
region. And their goal, as they've stated openly time after time, is the
