Coral Snake's Bites of the Week 2007-16 Not very many this week but all of them are interesting and important. Bites are going to the depopulation movement in general with the recipients being the groups Optimum Population Trust and The Sea Shepherd Conservation Society, and Dr. Eric R. Pianka. Bites are also going to the Jesuit Order with its Superior General Peter Hans Kolvenbach as the recipient as usual for their involvement in Genocide, Money Laundering and Pedophelia as well as the NWO in general and to its latest discovered Temporal Coadjutor, Bill Gates for coming out from under his rock and supporting schools designed to keep the children of the Illegal Immigrants in the Papal religion. A clearly conservative 2-1 court overturned the ban earlier this year, and now the full 10 person court has declined to hear the case at all. "A federal appeals court in Washington refused yesterday to revisit a March decision striking down parts of a gun control law there. The development brought the case one step closer to possible Supreme Court consideration of the Second Amendment?s meaning. The earlier decision, by a divided three-judge panel, was the first federal appellate ruling in the nation?s history to hold a gun control law unconstitutional on the ground that the Second Amendment?s guarantee of a right to bear arms protects the rights of individuals, as opposed to the collective rights of state militias. Yesterday?s decision was terse, indicating little more than that 4 of the 10 active judges on the court, the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit, would have granted the petition for rehearing. ?We are deeply disappointed that the court narrowly denied reconsideration,? Mayor Adrian M. Fenty said in a statement. But Mr. Fenty and Washington?s lawyers did not immediately vow to ask the Supreme Court to hear the case. ?Right now we?re evaluating our options,? said Linda Singer, Washington?s attorney general. ?We haven?t ruled anything in or out."? The next step, of course, for those in favor of the ban (which makes up the majority of DC?s citizens) would be to take the case to the Supreme Court of the United States. In fact, they must now do that within 90 days. In essence, the Appellate Court?s refusal to hear the case has simply sped up the process to get the appeal to the Supreme Court. "Fenty and other officials had asked the full appeals court to review a ruling issued by a three-judge panel that struck down a part of the D.C. law that bars people from keeping handguns in homes. With its 6 to 4 vote to reject a hearing by the full court, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit sped up the timetable for a showdown. Experts said that timetable favors gun rights advocates and the D.C. residents who first challenged the law. Clearly it would have been better for us to have another chance to argue before the full court,? said D.C. Attorney General Linda Singer. ?It goes much faster now.? If the city petitions for a hearing before the Supreme Court ? and it must make that decision within 90 days ? legal experts say the high court probably will agree to take the case within a year." So if the city decides to appeal, two things could happen. Either the Supreme Court could refuse to hear the case (essentially upholding the 2-1 politically motivated decision by a well-known conservative judge), or they could hear it within a year or so. If they do choose to hear the case, the issue, most experts say, will revolve around the court?s interpretation of the Second Amendment. Most scholars say that the Founding Fathers meant the Amendment to provide states with the ability to defend themselves against a tyrannical federal goverment, but the gun lobby has for years tried to convince Americans that the Second Amendment provides an individual right to own any and all firearms citizens might want (that view, of course, has had disastrous consequences for the safety of American citizens). Those fighting for the handgun ban say that whether or not the case went to the Supreme Court or not was a foregone conclusion? the real question is whether or not the Court, no matter how they rule on the Second Amendment, will respect the safety of Americans enough to let reasonable gun legislation like the handgun ban stand. "Paul Helmke of the pro-gun-control Brady Center to Prevent Gun Violence said he believes the Supreme Court will want to settle the matter. ?We?ve expected all along this would go the Supreme Court,? Helmke said. ?The crucial thing is, it gets it there quicker. If the court takes the case, there?s a chance there?ll be a ruling just before the presidential election. That will make it politically interesting.? D.C. Assistant Police Chief Winston Robinson Jr. said he?s sorry that some residents don?t feel safe in their homes without guns but stressed that the recent massacre at Virginia Tech should remind them that guns don?t increase safety. ?More than likely, that weapon in their home will be used against them,? Robinson said. ?Just think about what happened recently in Virginia: guns in the hands of people who shouldn?t have them."? That?s the most important thing here. Even if the case goes to the Supreme Court in a year or so, their decision about the Second Amendment is mostly an academic one. The facts are that the gun legislation already on the books is very necessary (and in fact, more is needed), and that any steps to rewind or erase that legislation will only put more Americans in danger. It?s fine to see the Second Amendment as granting an individual right to own firearms (even though the majority of academics and historians still stand by the opposing view), but that view should not prevent Americans from passing the gun laws they need to protect themselves from the scourge of gun violence.]} {[From http://www.gunguys.com/ Gun Lobby Trashes Legislative Process with Insults and Lies It?s constantly amazing to us how legislators continue to stand by the gun guys time and time again, even though the gun guys are often obnoxious and even abusive to the people who make and vote for this country?s laws. State Senator Dan Kotowski placed an amendment on a bill for children?s safety that would target high-capacity magazines, and the gun guys are trying to tear him apart with lies and insults. "The Illinois Council Against Handgun Violence (ICHV) is calling on the Illinois State Rifle Association (ISRA) to cease their personal attacks on State Senator and former ICHV Executive Director Dan Kotowski, as well as their lies about legislation that Kotowski and other members of the General Assembly have introduced this session. Last week the ISRA released a statement stating that Sen. Kotowski ?continued his practice of dancing in the blood of the Virginia Tech victims? by placing an amendment on SB 1007 that would prohibit the possession and sale of ammunition magazines that accept more than 10 rounds of ammunition. They then went on to say the amendment would ban certain firearms despite the fact that there is no language in the amendment that mentions prohibiting the sale and possession of any firearm. ?It?s truly shameful that the ISRA would personally attack Senator Kotowski, by bringing up the murder of 32 innocent students by an individual who used a handgun that accepted a high capacity ammunition magazine,? stated Thomas Mannard ICHV Executive Director. ?Senator Kotowski has been a victim of gun violence and has worked tirelessly during his professional career to do everything in his power to reduce the threat of gun violence in our communities and the availability of guns to criminals. While Kotowski is steadfastly fighting to keep children safe from firearms (especially those like the guns used in the Virginia Massacre, in which over a hundred shots were fired in just a few minutes? period), the gun guys persist in fighting him with personal attacks and lies. While citizens like those working with ICHV are legitimately trying to make things better and keep our country safe, the gun lobby continues to rudely argue against even the most reasonable of gun legislation, and allow firearms to keep endangering citizens in Illinois and elsewhere. Here?s an Illinois blogger that calls out the gun guys for what they?re really doing: standing in the way of the legislative process, and using personal insults and lies to try and attack legitimate, reasonable legislation. What do you call a lie about a non-lie? Is that a gross misrepresentation? The word ?gross? does seem appropriate, doesn?t it? Something else that?s ?gross?? Goofs who don?t understand the legislative process. It sounds more complicated than it is but, up until the time a bill is voted on, the text of that bill is completely fluid and can (and does) change from hour to hour let alone week to week. One such goofball writes for a pro-gunner blog called ?Armed and Safe?. Apparently the ?ignorant? part is implied. Blogger ?45superman? titles his May 1st post: ?Illinois State Senator Dan Kotowski supports the sexual exploitation of children? ? another gross misrepresentation." That?s the real problem here. Kotowski is also working on passing the .50 caliber ban in Illinois, and that bill (which is extremely necessary) also may be dragged down by this inane whining and misleading by the gun guys. They?re not interested in considering legislation on its own, or letting our senators and representatives confront the real arguments for and against each bill. Instead, they rush in mob form onto each piece of legislation as it comes through, assault the offices of legislators who don?t agree with them (all the while personally insulting them in every venue they can), and bully and shout down even the most reasonable of gun laws. We hesitate to give them exposure at all, just because what these gun guys are doing simply isn?t helpful to anyone involved in the legislative process. It?s not helpful to senators like Kotowski, who are legitimately working to make a difference on gun violence, and it?s not even helpful to legislators who actually agree with these gun guys, because they must find themselves in the strange position of agreeing with idiots who are threatening to lynch the people they work with. Debate is fine, of course, and we?re sure Senator Kotowski and other legislators working on reasonable gun laws welcome it. But insults and mistruths should never be welcome in a legislature, especially when it comes to law so clearly designed to protect American citizens from gun violence. By introducing this filth into the legislative process, the gun guys are not only making themselves (and their shrinking numbers of supporters) look bad, but causing the American people to miss out on important laws that would have otherwise benefited us all. Update: News has come down the line that the bill passed the Illinois Senate today. Let that be a lesson to these gun guys that these tactics hurt their agenda way more than they help.]} {[From http://www.gunguys.com/ Terrorism Threat Targets Fort Dix, Suspects Seen in Video Shooting Assault Weapons Six foreigners have been arrested for suspicion of a terrorist threat aimed at the Army?s Fort Dix. And they were planning on using assault weapons, likely bought here in the US, to do it. "Six foreign-born Muslims were arrested and accused Tuesday of plotting to attack the Army?s Fort Dix and massacre scores of U.S. soldiers ? a plot the FBI says was foiled when the men took a video of themselves firing assault weapons to a store to have the footage put onto a DVD. The defendants, all men in their 20s from the former Yugoslavia and the Middle East, include a pizza deliveryman suspected of using his job to scout out the military base. ?Today we dodged a bullet. In fact, when you look at the type of weapons that this group was trying to purchase, we may have dodged a lot of bullets,? said FBI agent J.P. Weis. ?We had a group that was forming a platoon to take on an army. They identified their target, they did their reconnaissance. They had maps. And they were in the process of buying weapons. Luckily, we were able to stop that."? The group itself was apparently infiltrated by an informant a while ago, and they were caught while trying to buy weapons (illegally, we assume), from another informant. They also were training at a firing range near Pennsylvania, and were seen in a video shooting assault weapons. The origin of those weapons has not been mentioned yet. "The men trained by playing paintball in the woods in New Jersey and taking target practice at a firing range in Pennsylvania?s Pocono Mountains, where they had rented a house, authorities said. They often watched terrorism training videos, clips featuring Osama bin Laden, a tape containing the last will and testament of some of the Sept. 11 hijackers, and tapes of armed attacks on U.S. military personnel, erupting in laughter when one plotter noted that a Marine?s arm was blown off in an ambush, authorities said. ?In court documents, prosecutors said the suspects came to the attention of authorities in January 2006 when a Mount Laurel, N.J., shopkeeper alerted the FBI about a ?disturbing? video he had been asked to copy onto a DVD. The video showed 10 young men in their early 20s ?shooting assault weapons at a firing range ? while calling for jihad and shouting in Arabic ?Allah Akbar? (God is great),? the complaint said. The 10 included six of those arrested, authorities said." The VPC has released more information on the weapons these men had in their possession and may also have been trying to obtain. In addition, these weapons (and assault weapons in general) are referenced in ?terrorist training manuals.? "A foreign-made SKS assault rifle specifically approved for import by the Bush Administration was one of the weapons the U.S. government alleges that six men plotting an assault on Fort Dix trained with in the Poconos according to the criminal complaint filed in a federal district court in New Jersey. In addition to the Yugoslavian SKS, the alleged terrorists also trained with a Beretta Storm assault rifle. Although the federal assault weapons ban has expired, the Bush Administration has the executive authority to ban the import of foreign-made assault weapons like the SKS and Storm. Such an action would not require Congressional approval. Both President Bill Clinton and President George Herbert Walker Bush used their executive powers to stop the import of specific assault rifles. In contrast, the Administration of George W. Bush has specifically authorized the importation of SKS assault rifles made in Albania and the former Yugoslavia. ?VPC Legislative Director Kristen Rand states, ?President Bush could with the stroke of a pen tighten the import ban and stop the import of all foreign-made assault rifles?including the SKS and Beretta Storm. How many near misses and tragedies will it take before the Administration takes action?? The ease with which military-style firearms and firearms training can be obtained in the United States has been touted in terrorist training manuals, including ?How Can I Train Myself for Jihad,? which states, ??obtain an assault rifle legally, preferably AK-47 or variations, learn how to use it properly and go and practice in the areas allowed for such training."? Why are we still allowing these rifles to be obtained legally in this country? Fortunately, this attack on Fort Dix was stopped before it could be carried out, but are we going to wait for a tragedy to take action? Are we going to wait for an attack on our soil with these weapons before we do something about them? There is no legitimate civilian use for these weapons, and exactly no reason they should be legal within our borders. They are weapons used by terrorists, and to allow them to remain legal would be equivalent to sitting back and waiting for another terrorist attack.]} Once again these "Gun Guys" either don't understand that Terrorism is an INSIDE JOB designed to get the laws they support and other essentiual restrictions on individual rights passed or they are Jesuit Temporal Coadjutors and TERRORISTS themselves. Well i've got some news for you Gun Guys, presidential assassinations and other acts of terror are NOT always committed by guns. The Amanita phalloides mushrooms your precious Jesuit Order slipped into President William Henry Harrison's and President Zacchary Taylor's food WEREN'T guns were they. (Harrison and taylor "Officially" died of pnumonia but the actual symptoms reported by witnesses point to some kind of "Timed" (delayed action) poisoning being involved. Amanitin X the lethal toxin in the Amanita phalloides and closely related "Destroying Angel" mushrooms was the pretty much the only "timed" lethal toxin available through most of the 19th Century. Arsenic is also suspected in these two non gun assassinations but it has to be delivered in several doses over time to functioned as a "timed" poison. Amanitin X functioned as a "timed" poison in a single dose and therefore is easier to hide and that is why I suspect that an Amanita phalloides or related mushroom was the weapon of these assassinations.)
