Yep. There will indeed be a trickle of stealth-bannings from LP. Sweetjustusnow from LP was a stealth-banning victim. Some of us just thought she was taking a break - PERMANENTLY it turned out. For supporting Ron Paul.
It deserves an answer for all of us. To underscore her pettiness, hypocrisy and comical selectivity of her so-called "rules". I reckon Yu-Klown's Attack Vanity was considered "ok" cuz he place it in the "correct" category under "Other News"?

Liberator was pissed at me for saying it but I thought those were the rules and always had been. Of course, the real "rules" of LP are obviously not what they are advertised to be.

Probably the simplest explanation is that she's a Rockefeller (Country Club) Republican, aka neocon, who encourages disruption of conservative discussions to advance the liberal east coast progressive GOP agenda. Basically, they'll do anything to prevent a conservative from being elected. IOW no different from Ded Kennedy, John Kerry, Chris Dodd, Mitt Romney, his father George Romney, David Rockefeller, Susan Collins, H.W. Bush, Olympia Snowe, and the like. I realize that there are two wings of the D&R party there, but they're all the same once you scratch the surface. TC has the FreeRepublic "RimJob's Honeypot" theory, which is pretty good too. I've pinged him and perhaps he will explain it. I believe that the original got deleted at LP.

Just a theory. I do think most of us recognize that several of these posters show exactly the style of trolling and stalking we recall from our day at FR. It's more of a "this is the only explanation that makes any sense unless Goldi is actually insane" kind of theory. As I mentioned to liberator, I posted this on a number of threads yesterday morning, several times using H2 tags for big print saying things like: Maybe Goldi just woke up on a Saturday afternoon and decided to catch up with the forum and it's all just a coincidence. Maybe not. Because if I'm right (or anywhere close to it), the last thing they'd ever tolerate is anyone posting a good guess. I was wondering for a bit if I would get the ban for saying it. But not yet. There is definitely something queer about LP any more. It always had its less-than-glorious moments but nothing like the situation over the last year or so. OTOH, Goldi used to moderate it a lot better too. You would think she would do more moderating in a presidential election year and try to run a good forum to help the common political effort but...nada.
I thought about it very briefly. But I've complained before about those who get into cross-forum stalking and trolling and flamebaiting. So I'd look a wee bit hypocritical if I did that now. Darn. I always regret my more noble sentiments later. I need to be just a total raving bastard all the time. Then I could apply for Posse membership.
