A Turkish company is hoping that images of Adolf Hitler will entice men to buy their shampoo.
The Turkish company Biomen has come under fire after they created an advertisement that uses black and white footage of the German dictator urging customers to purchase their 100 percent male shampoo.
If you are not wearing a womans dress, you should not use her shampoo either, a voiceover actor says as Hitler delivers a fiery speech. Here it is, a real mens shampoo, Biomen.
The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) released a statement on Friday, saying they were repulsed by Biomens campaign.
The use of images of the violently anti-Semitic dictator who was responsible for the mass murder of 6 million Jews and millions of others in the Holocaust to sell shampoo is a disgusting and deplorable marketing ploy, ADL National Director and a Holocaust survivor Abraham H. Foxman explained.
There can never be any justifiable purpose for using the images of Hitler, Nazis or any other depiction of the Nazi killing machine to sell products or services.
As of Sunday, the commercial was continuing to air on television stations across Turkey.
