you posted a link with porn. It displayed porn, but that is not what he posted. It is a trap that sites do to punish those who hotlink.
yukon saw a picture of a dog crapping on a Mexican flag so he grabbed the url and posted it here. The site owner has it set up so that if someone hot links a nasty picture shows up instead.
Since the original picture was in yukon's cache, all he could see was the picture of the dog. I went to the original url and saw the original picture. As soon as I did, the original picture showed up on that thread instead of the gay porn because the original was now also my my computer's cache.
The internet is full of tutorals on how to do this. I grabbed one from this site: http://www.tamingthebeast.net/articles6/hotlinking-protection.htm
"Advanced hotlink protection methods
You can use the following code to display an image of your choice in place of the hotlinked image requested. In this version, change "you" and ".com" to match your site details, plus replace "/img/a.gif" with the path and filename to the replacement image.
This option is great for revenge, but be sure to use a lightweight image so that it doesn't cost you much in bandwidth :). "
Anyways, it's your site and you can do what you wish. I just wanted to make sure you understood exactly what happened. When I saw that porn picture I started writing a butt chewing post to yukon. I was pissed at him. Then I thought I should check what was up, checked the url of the picture, and suspected it was a redirect thing. Sure enough.
Just know that anyone who ever hotlinks on here runs the risk of doing the exact same thing and they will never know it unless people holler.
Best to ya!
