I found this VERY SUSPICIOUS request concening "snail mail" donations on Goldi's Faro Bank SnookerThon thread at El Pee

#106. To: Magician (#104)

Where can I send a check?

Liberty Post • 9838 Old Baymeadows Road, PMB 296 • Jacksonville, Florida 32256

the Pay to line needs to be left BLANK.

Goldi-Lox posted on 2011-04-01 1:13:12 ET Reply Trace

The Pay To or more accurately the Pay To The Order of line of a check is the line that tells a bank exactly to give the money that the check represents TO.

The recipient of a check with a BLANK pay to line can make it out to literally ANYBODY. What ecactly is Goldi up to with this SnookerThon involving checks with BLANK Pay To The Order Lines???!!! More to come if I find out more. I have never even seen Jim Rob ask for donations in checks with BLANK Pay To The Order lines!!!! This is a NEW LOW in possible dishonesty from the Neo Con forums if my suspicions about the BLANK Pay To The Order line on the Checks is true.

The fact is that Goldi COULD do as described above. I'm not saying she would, but a blank TO: line is ridiculous. She could make it out to the phone company, the cable company or the RNC for that matter.

Perhaps someone who has sent her a check with the pay to line blank would tell us what payee she fills in?

I have nothing to hide from the IRS.

Hopefully the tax attorney you hire can convince them of this.

Especially since you acknowledge on a public forum her shady business practices yet still choose to participate.

LOL!

I have donated one time to LP in the amount of $50.00 and didn't deduct the donation.

Believe it or not, in my country, I'm allowed to spend my net take home pay any way that I'd like to.

You would not believe the contact I've had with the IRS over the years and I have no shady dealings.

But thanks for your concern.

I don't know, I'm not an accountant or tax attorney and I've never held or ran an internet interest that solicited donations.

I'm also not making any allegations, I'm simply engaged in a discussion.

Yet you admit to participating in what maybe be an enterprise that you admit has unorthodox practices. When they hit her for the bill and she can't pay you might also be called in as a party to it since you participated and received services with full knowledge.

I admitted to donating $50.00 to LP, which I did.

I in no way 'participated in what maybe be an enterprise that I admit has unorthodox practices', nor did I admit LP in fact has unorthodox practices. I am simply musing since I have no direct knowledge of LP's business dealings.

Donating $50.00 to anything is not participating in an enterprise, it is a donation. You are trying to convince me that I've somehow implicated myself in some imaginary shady dealing because I donated $50.00?

Are you serious? And what services did I receive for my donation?

Your argument is ridiculous, and I urge you to stop it.

You participated in the forum, so you received services. Donations are optional, yet you gave by your admission, so you felt that your participation had monetary value. And yet you have no idea how the forum enterprise is actually set up, as you don't even know the full name of the owner. It could be laundering money, as it's definitely in the right location.

And you publicly acknowledge your suspicions regarding her unorthodox donation collection processes, yet give tacit approval by continuing your posting there with a history of donations.

I don't know as I never used paypal. I heard her name is Sally. I don't recall if her last name is out. I would have to cut her some slack on this one. I know she has done it this way for years. The person sending the check will receive a canceled check or an image of it. So they will be able to see where the money went to. They could post that information if they wanted to.

Now you're seeing the real "Gatlin." He's got to have the last word. And he sure didn't appreciate getting rebuked for condoning Yukon's gutter language and behavior. And sounding like him.

What's telling about his rebuke of your dig into calcon is a matter of degree. Yours was far more of a tweak, whereas Gatlin/Tater's digs were...NASTY.

You may not realize this, but calcon and I have a history of exchanging posts exactly like this, because we enjoy each others humor. Calcon is a funny guy. I ROARED at laughter when he started calling Ron Paul, bong paul.

I have nothing against calcon, have told him so many times, and have teased him about working at Taco Bell for a couple years now.

He has teased me about being an alcoholic for quite awhile also. We are 'playing'. You are not. There is a marked difference.

(I have no idea where calcon works and he could have no idea what my alcoholic beverage consumption is.)

If you want something to throw back at me, search posts from me to 'Rek'. If you pointed out that remark, you would be correct.

I am a father, and a damned good one. My children are polite, courteous, intelligent, self sustaining and doing quite well. My son is getting ready to start his first business, and is doing so with absolutely no help from me. I'd help if he asked, but he hasn't. I'm very proud of him for that.
